I bought this to replace the old one in a clock that I love. It has a nice sweeping movement and works very well!

The hands are lovely; perfect for what I had in mind. So far, the clock mechanism seems to be accurate; too soon to tell. The instructions are too small, are difficult to follow, and could use editing/clarification (ALL parts should be clearly labeled in them & the pictures should be larger—especially the illustration of the order in which the parts are placed—that would be so helpful!) I was shocked to discover that carbon batteries were required and not happy that I had to order them online. That should be noted in the main product description, so people have a heads and and can order them at the same time.

This is really a clock saver. Comes with all kinds of extra goodies. The only negative is that the hands are very bendable, probably in order to make them work easily. Great that different sizes are available.

This was a perfect fit replacement for a broken movement on a Craftsman saw blade clock. I found following the directions gets everything in sync from the get go.

This movement is junk. I bought it in December 2024. It’s now March of 2025 and it loses time horribly. There is no adjustment for this. Do not buy!

I made a wooden clock for my mother from walnut and installed the EMOON clock mechanism. Installation was easy, the collection of hands allowed me to choose just the right kind and the second hand turned smoothly. The issue is that the second hand was the only hand that turned. The mech never kept time and the battery died after about 12 hours. I bought a new mech at Joann Fabric and it worked out of the package. I'll stick to buying local.
