Great model from Tamiya
Tamiya always has the best quality, details, and fit and finish. This model has a ton of parts, plenty of details, and fit was great. Some Tamiya models only come with minimal parts, this one comes with a lot of parts. Very enjoyable

Great
The media could not be loaded. It's the best F4u kit I've seen. Nice panel lines, good fitting, decent detail.Since I motorized mine, you can see some wires and minor modifications.

Great detail
This is a nice kit with many details. The flaps are quite tricky to place because of the tight space near the wing root. I built it with wings in flight position, but it can be done with folded wings. Fit was typical Tamiya excellence.

Great quality!!
I’ve built 5 Tamiya planes now and they are so much fun to build, the fit is great very minimal smoothing not really sanding and the finished product looks amazing

Outstanding model
I've been doing models most of my life and I always try to keep an eye out for the ones that are exceptionally well designed. This model by Tamiya is made with great care. It builds fantastically and the detail in the model is quite realistic. Truly great replica and it was a great build.

Good kit
Nice kit - plenty of detail but fairly easy to assemble. Like the fact it can be assembled with wings in folded position.

Uncharacteristic dud from Tamiya
I’ve built many Tamiya kits and this one was the first time I’ve been disappointed. Maybe I got a bad sample, but the alignment was way out whack. About the only area that went together well was the cockpit. I was able to get it looking decent until I got to the flaps portion. I ended up giving up on it because nothing I did would make the flaps align.

I got into building models a while back and have build around 12 of them at this point. I was building just Revell models, which were okay. I would often get frustrated with the fit of pieces they just didn't seem to sync up really well. The Tamiya model is incredible. I had seen reviews saying that Tamiya models "just fall together." This is completely accurate. I was kind of intimidated by how many parts there were when I opened the box (since Revell models are typically pretty basic) but the process of putting it all together is part of the fun. I can't say enough good things about this model. I plan on replacing all my previous builds with Tamiya models.
