Simple to pair and install
I already has a three gang version by the same manufacturer driving 4 remote lights. I got this to add a second switch in an outbuilding. It took only a few minutes to set up and pair with the gangs I wanted on the original switch and it works perfectly. the other switch has been in use for several years without any issues. It is of course super light so I just used a double sided pad t stick it where I wanted.

Used to tidy a previous rewire with external trunking.
Written in 2024...installed 2022 These have been superb and 100% reliable. In a renovation of a 1960 building which had been rewired by the previous owner in 2005. The electrician had laid trunking down to light switches. These simply enabled me to shorten the runs to permanent connection and the at the light rose fit the receiver. Trunking gone and light switch relocated to wherever I please. I have over 10 of these units in my home for two years. Never a issue easy to install . I totally recommend.

Absolutely perfect
After building a new shed for our daughter, I completed all the electrical work including fitting this wireless receiver for the new up-&-down garden lights I installed, around 40m from the house kitchen. This unit is a game-changer. Needless to say everyone was dead chuffed at the result, me included. The price is good and so is the quality of both the switch and receiving receiving unit. Technical point: There are four terminals on the receiver, two for incoming live & neutral and two for outgoing (to the lights). However, to save having to use 4-core cable, if your receiver isn't near your lights, you don't need to return the neutral if you have other neutrals available to connect the lights to e.g. consumer unit. You'll only need to return the live and connect it (safely!) to the lights live feed. If in doubt however, speak to an electrician or use a 4-core cable. It's a great piece of kit. 🙂

Works a treat
Used it to replace a more expensive LightWaveRF switch/dimmer that had a mind of its own seemingly deciding at random to turn the lights off. The Thinkbee was an easy swap out. The switch part fits a standard UK pattress box though the plastic will distort if it is tightened too much, it is not quite as solid as a normal UK switch. The relay part was even easier to fit, though I didn't use the push-fit cable connectors that were supplied, replacing them with standard screw fit ones. I like the way the switch operates and so far it has worked faultlessly. It is the third kit of this type I have used and they have been a fantastic way to operate remote lights with a switch located in a far more convenient location than would have been possible with conventional hard wiring. My only criticism is that the backplate of the light switch could be a little stronger for fitting to a pattress UK box. In most situations, if you are just sticking the switch to a flat surface using the pads supplied this is a non-issue though. I like the concept so much I am going to convert my outside lights currently on PIR to remote switching so they are more controllable.

Better than other brands
I purchased another brand from of wireless switches. Within a week of fitting the pairing would play up and eventually the three way switch packed in all together. Fitted these today and they were easy to pair and within 30 seconds all working perfectly. Smaller form factor than the other brand so would be easy to hide within a ceiling. Great product would recommend and will be buying some more in the future.

Easy install. “Does what it says on the tin!”
The video on Amazon that accompanies this purchase gives a near perfect example of how to install and pair this product easily and safely. I read other reviews that mentioned battery life and making sure your wiring was in the correct way and it worked first time. As a side note if you are competent enough I would advise any armature DIY enthusiasts to install this product for thr following reasons. Several years ago I paid 2 electricians (cowboys) to install a similar product in my loft for my landing light. They charged me a very high rate for a very simple wiring job. Now I’m converting the loft area I’ve seen the multitude of sins they have left behind as the cut through old wiring and left it up there and also left a live feed for this light switch bare and unprotected. Inevitably as we inched our way around the loft area cutting away the dead wires we came across this little beauty a shrine to their incompetence, which literally blue up as soon as I touched it because it was badly installed, because lofts especially ones that are not converted can hide a multitude of sins from unscrupulous tradesmen. Now I’ve ordered and installed and fitted this item it in a timely manner myself, I don’t have to worry about short circuits or risk of a fire occurring. The battery issue I’ve heard is a concern because as far as I’m aware the only way you can remove the front panel easily is from the rear of the unit. However once it is installed via screwing it to a back plate, this could be troublesome to do in the future, so I’m hoping I haven’t got one of the dud batteries in the switch unit others have complained about. Also great push and clip fittings for the wireless unit and as mentioned earlier the video help file that accompanies this installation is an accurate representation of how to install this unit safely. If only all electrical appliances that require wiring were built this way, DIY would be far less tedious and problematic. For all of the above and piece of mind is the reason I’ve given this product 5 stars and felt compelled to write a rather lengthy review.

Excellent Wi-Fi switch
I have several of these wi-fi switches and they all work exceedingly well. The oldest of these is one I installed in my bathroom to replace the old pull switch. That was about 6 years ago and it's still working perfectly.. Easy to install, easy to use and the wi=fi has a really good range. I will buy more of these switches as the need arises and I recommend them.

I’m switched on
I hate pull switches in bathrooms! The cord gets dirty and unhygienic plus the switch is often noisey. Enter the radio frequency remote switch that is legal in bathrooms because there are no wires as the unit uses a battery to transmit your command to switch on the light or fan to a receiver that immediately obeys! Very well made and easy to install! Ceiling pull switches are obsolete!
