Good but Disappointed
I have a couple of disappointments, but overall they're nice. First off, as you can see from the pics the Ullman logo on the grips of mine were some block letter text instead of the classic cursive. Which imo, is not as attractive and has me wondering if this is even an actual Ullman set or a counterfeit. Second, the tools themselves aren't marked at all. No country of manufacture nothing. The package doesn't even have a country of origin. Which again, is a disappointment as I was under the impression these were made in USA, be nice to know that for sure, as I prefer to support my country where I can.Other than the above these feel great in hand. They are decent in thickness. The knurling on the shanks could be a little more aggressive, I think. All in all these are great with the exception of some very poor choices made in areas that don't particularly matter in the function of the tools itself.

Cheap, Fragile
I bought this set to try to remove a tiny filter in the back of my engine hidden inside the block. I grabbed the hook pick first thinking I'd hook under the rim of the little thing (can't see it from it's location) and when I gave it a pull I felt a give, then realized the grip piece had started coming off. I held it tighter and found the metal piece underneath it was also moving. I tossed that pick aside, grabbed the 45 degree angle one instead and got it hooked under the tiny plastic filter lip, pulled up and the pick snapped right at the middle of the 45 bend. I ended up just threading a lag bolt into the tiny filter to pull it out because I obviously wasn't getting anywhere with these. They are cheap and there's a reason for that. They come in a small vinyl pouch just big enough to fit them if that's a perk. I half expected a loose pile or all of them crimped into some plastic packaging. Gave 2 stars for ergonomics for the attempt of adding a grip.

Very well made!
I am very surprised by how good the quality is for the price. These are very nicely finished, evenly ground, hardened and properly tempered. The only 2 drawbacks I have found..... they are big. Just be expecting that. If you are looking for something the size of a dental pick, this isn't it. Just be prepared for it. Secondly, (as other people have noted) the carry pouch for them was coming apart as soon as I got it. Not so big an issue as to deduct a star, but would have been nice to have had it hold up some. Maybe a thick vinyl instead of plastic would be the solution. All in all, a good investment.

Awesome pick set
I have had a set at work for over 15 years that I used as a professional diesel tech . I bought these just for home use . I have never broken one and used and abused them . The only complaint I have have is you need to add a drop of loctite to keep the handle from coming unthreaded .

I recommend not using the plastic case it came with since ...
Very high quality, 6/5 stars.I recommend not using the plastic case it came with since it breaks apart easily, instead buy one of these to carry them: Tinksky Artist Paint Brush Roll Up Bag Holder Canvas Pouch (Green)

Good Enough
Just received the Ullman pick set. As was noted in other reviews the case for the picks came in split. I would not keep them in the package, but put them in a drawer of my tool box, so no big problem, but it does mark the quality down a bit.I also tested to see if the picks were easy to pull from their handles. You can pull the nut that the pick screws into out if you pull hard enough. I've used picks working on automobiles and I've never found that a pick of this size needed to be used to pull that hard. They do screw in an out to be used with or without the handle.Since the captive nuts are able to move with pressure and the packaging was torn, marked this item down to a 3 star. Would mark it a 3.5.Over all I am happy with them. These items are pretty much consumable tools. So this is good enough for what you will need.

Same as more expensive Craftsman brand name
I purchased a set of “Craftsman” brand picks for significantly more money . These are exactly the same as the more expensive ones. Great buy . Im not one of those mechanics that have to have the biggest most expensive “snap-on tools” and matching box. I only need the tools required for the job , not bragging rights. I dont need to impress anyone , my work speaks for itself

Dont wait!
Can't beat ullman for the price. Quality products as always. If you really want to know... They make these for the tool trucks. Same product just different name on them. My coworkers are pretty upset they have been wasting money on other brands. Check out garagejournal.com tool truck equivalent 2.0 thread for more of what your missing out on.Highly recommend this product. Actually any of the ullman products.

Good pick set
Decent quality for the price. The picks are threaded into the handle so it becomes loose at times. Other than that they are pretty sturdy.

Would buy again
Heavy duty, nice finish. Length is good for reach, not so much for small/tight space tasks.

Also I did not like how the metal stick is screwed on the handle
Tools are much bigger than I imagined. Also I did not like how the metal stick is screwed on the handle, if you force in a clockwise direction it will come off.
