ALTRA Unisex Trail Gaiter

I use them with my Brooks, Salomons during hikes, no issues, great choice.

Fits perfectly with my Altras. I used the other reviews to determine size. It was more based on my ankle/calf size than my shoe size. I wear size 11 women's shoes but have small legs. I got the smalls, and they fit fine. Ran a trail half marathon on sandy/rocky trails in Colorado, and nothing ended up in my shoes. Perfect! They go on quickly, connect with the shoelaces and the built-in velcro on the back of my shoes. Great buy!

I've used these for my Altra Lone Peaks and Topo Mountain Racer 4s. They fit perfect for these two shoe systems. I didn't give it a 5 star rating since the price is too high for trail running gaiters. I've used it both for trail running on my Altra Lone Peaks and for backpacking on my Topos. No bugs on my feet.

Very light in weight. Great heel Velcro anchor Also front is held firmly by a metal hook and Velcro closure NOTE: the hook faces up not down as it secures to the shoe lace at front of shoe. And remember to slip the gaiter on before you put the shoes on. There is no zipper Velcro closure

I now have 7-8 of these. The most recent are three that, in my opinion, are improved, because they are slimmer at the ankle. My previous ones, I had to re-seam because of the gaping at the ankle, which allowed sand and small pebbles into the insides. Now, I wish Altra would revisit the decision to discontinue the gaiter attachments on the All-Weather Lone Peaks. Gaiters are needed on all low ankle trail shoes.

These are a game changer when it comes to trail running. I have Altra trail running boots (that I LOVE) and half way through the summer I bought these bad boys and have been in love ever since. Nothing gets in my shoes and drives me nuts while I run. Dirt still finds its way in there but just dusty dirt. No rocky dirt or objects you would notice. 10/10

Works good, but back side connections needs improves . Sticky strap doesn’t work second day of hiking because collect dust.I had to find another solution like safety pin .

Used in a through hike recently. Worked great. The top hole you have to put your foot through could be a little stretchier. I felt like I was going to tear it a few times.

Totally blocked the annoying grit and dirt I always pick up out on hikes with my Altra’s. Easy to put on and takes off and handy extra Velcro for non heel lock shoes so can add to any trainers. Best investment I made for ages!

Product is excellent when working with Altra Trail Runners which it is designed for.

Blasen entstehen durch Reibung, Hitze- und/oder Feuchtigkeitsstau im Schuh. Wie schnell hat man einen kleinen Kiesel oder Sand im Schuh, der unweigerlich zu Blasenbildung führen kann. Diese Gamaschen verhindern das. Und schützt die Socken vor Staub und Dreck, was ebenfalls Rötungen, wunde Stellen und "Pilgerkrätze" verursachen kann. Mit dem Klett an der Ferse bleibt die Gamsche da, wo sie sein soll - was besser hält, als Varianten, wo unter dem Schuh ein Draht alles fixieren soll. Vorne kann der Haken einfach auch in die Schnürung geclipt werden. Auch für Wald- und Wiesenspaziergänge nutze ich die Gamaschen, um zu verhindern, dass Zecken sich von unten ins Hosenbein schleichen können. Super Verarbeitung und top Qualität - daher gebe ich gern fünf Sternchen!
