Simple, space-saving design that works well
I have tried a few other retractable cords for my devices - all worked great for about a week, then the retraction device fails. I've had these a couple of months with frequent use, and it seems structurally sound and continues to function as designed. So nice to pull the cords in and drop in my backpack without more tangled cords!

These just don't hold up at all.
I liked the retractable feature of this to pick up the slack of too much cord, but for some reason, they stop working. I'm just going to buy a regular cord, probably braided but pretty common.

Very convenient
Works great in my Harley. Traditional cords flap in the wind and break. This keeps unneeded slack inside the unit.

Solid connection for data and charging
These USB C retractable cables are working great so far. The data transfer rates are on par with other cables I use, and the charging with a good charger also works well. You get two units for a reasonable price, and as long as they last for a few years, I'll call this a win. No complaints at this time. These retract smoothly and feel quality.
