Great book
I have not yet put most of it to work yet but I had checked the book out from the library and it was so informative I had to buy it. It is well illustrated which is always helpful, quite detailed, and has information on useful websites to use as well.

Provides a good overview of many web-related subjects
Each of the 101 articles in this book provides a good, one or two page overview of a particular aspect of 11 different areas of website development and design (content, navigation, layout, accessibility, etc.). Since the articles are short they aren't going to tell you everything you need to know, but they do give you enough information to point you in the right direction for additional research and reading. This book is also a good source of inspiration and ideas for whatever web project you may be working on.

Fantastic overview for non professionals considering building a new website
Although this 2012 edition has some outdated information, I personally still found it to be a valuable overview of the important considerations to be mindful of when embarking on building a website. The colorful and well thought out layout and visual design also made it a delightful as well as informative read. Obviously at 2025 much has changed regarding html, css, et al. Perhaps it is time for Scott Parker to reward us with a new updated 2025 version?!!

Good Book but very small type
It is a good reference book - specially for people who are new to web design like myself. However, I have one complaint that the type / font size used is very small which makes it a headache to read.

Not bad but not great
Eh. A long list of things to consider without any real insight. Fairly vague. Not bad but not great.
