As someone who loves cooking and has used various kitchen knives over the years, I can confidently say that this Zwilling Henckels knife set is hands down the best I’ve ever owned. I've had issues in the past with knives rusting, but I haven’t had that problem at all with these. The quality of the stainless steel is top-notch, and they still look brand new after several months of heavy use.The 14-piece set covers everything I could ever need in the kitchen – from the chef’s knife to the bread knife, they are all razor-sharp and cut through everything effortlessly. They’re so comfortable to use, and the white handles add a sleek touch to my kitchen. One of my favorite features is the built-in sharpener that comes with the set. It keeps the knives sharp with minimal effort, which is a huge bonus!These knives are engineered with precision and have made meal prep and cooking a breeze. They make cutting, chopping, and slicing feel easy, and I’ve never been more confident in my kitchen. If you’re serious about cooking, I highly recommend this set – it’s worth every penny!

This 20-piece knife set offers excellent value for the price. The knives are remarkably sharp, making food preparation a breeze. However, I've noticed that the blades tend to stain easily, even with prompt washing. This is a bit disappointing aesthetically, but doesn't affect their performance. The variety of knives included is comprehensive, covering most kitchen needs. Despite the staining issue, the sharpness and overall quality make this set a solid choice for those seeking a budget-friendly but functional knife collection.

Wow, my husband and I absolutely love this knife set! We are both retired, both cook often, and was looking for a good knife set with good gripping handles, self-sharpening, and had good-sized steak knives. And boy, did we find it with this product! We have only had this set a week, but so far, we love it! (I will update my review, if anything changes.) We have been hand-washing them and then drying with a cloth and leaving them on our drying mat overnight to air dry thoroughly, before placing them back in the knife block. We purchased the 14-piece set and it fits very nicely on our counter, without taking up much room. I really wanted the 20-piece set so that we would have 8 steak knives, instead of just the 6. However, after reading the reviews of how big the block was on the larger set, and me not being able to find the dimensions of the block anywhere, I opted for the smaller 14-piece set. All the knives state they were made in India, and the shears and black wood block was made in China. This is truly a beautiful set. We have been delighted at how sharp these knives are and highly recommend this set! (Just a side note, the box states there is a “prep knife,” but on the wood block it states it as a “utility” knife.)

Having previously owned Henckels knives, we purchased this set for our motorhome. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to use cheep knives when doing meal prep. Plus this set has built in sharpeners and comes with kitchen scissors.You can buy cheep knives and replace them every several years or invest in quality knives once. Our Henckels knives at our home are over 40 years old and they are still great knives.

So first off, yes, they are made in China. Henckles are made in China and Spain to help cut production costs, these aren't the higher end Zwilling knives made in Solingen, Germany, but they are quality. Great carbon steel knives that work well for the home cook. I love the sharpness right out of the box, it makes it great for slicing and cutting whatever you need to. The block in my opinion is a little big, but I do have a large kitchen so counterspace is a luxury I have. In a smaller kitchen I would try to find a way to place them to maximize my space. One of my biggest complaints is they don't hold an edge as long as expected. I was expecting the edge to last longer. The built in sharpener works okay at best, so I would recommend getting an actual sharpener. I picked up a simple Henckles one and it works fine. Overall, it is a great value for the price, and would be great for the home cook. The handles feel great, good weight, and cuts well.

Knives were nice and sharp out of the box and have stayed sharp though the time I've been using them. Although not long, they look great and feel great in my hand. They also clean very easily, keeping the blades nice and tidy!

After finally replacing knifes who could not cut warm butter, these knifes are a massive upgrade. So far, their sharpness easily cut everything. Hopefully it stays that way.

Very nice set! Sturdy and durable. I will not have to buy another set with the built in sharpeners. Would definately buy one of these sets again for a gift.
