Good unit, does what I need it to do. It wasn't reading right (on the amp hours reading) when it was first installed. Couldn't troubleshoot it myself with the manual. I called Renogy tech support and the guy walked me through the settings. Very helpful support. Now the monitor works like a champ. Very pleased with the monitor now.

This is a must have to your camper battery bank. It was super easy to install remotely and I love the Bluetooth. Now without installing a whole monitoring system, (which is better but harder and more invasive to install) I have an accurate power supply monitor with the app on my phone. WAAAAYYYY more accurate than the 4 little lights on the camper status panel.

The p- and b- sides were switched so output and input were showing reversed on the monitor. Closer inspection shows the circuit was attached upside down. I didn't bother fixing that but just reversed my connections instead and it reads just fine. Excellent data, quick response. The data cable connections could be a little sturdier; they haven't broken but they seem very precarious. That will go away once I get it mounted to a wall.

Purchased this along with a new 2000W inverter and a smart hub for a camper electrical system upgrade. Now I can run A/C (for a little while), or a microwave, or small things like a laptop in the camper. The data from the shunt is helpful and integrates well with the hub or directly to your phone with Bluetooth. Renogy products have impressed me so far.

The media could not be loaded. My Renogy battery monitor quit working within a couple of weeks of setting up the solar system. I contacted Renogy customer support via phone, and after the initial phone conversation was directed to their online Service Center - where it devolved into a drawn out back-and-forth with the service representative of asking for photos, videos, proof of purchase, which I sent twice.After ten days of this nonsense, I gave up and called again to learn that NOW they’ll send a return label for me to send it in, they’ll take 7 to 10 business days to “test” it. If they find it’s defective (look at the video - what do YOU think??) they’ll repair it. If not, then they said I’ll have to pay to get it shipped back. All of this for a low-dollar electronic item that they should just swap out and recondition. Meanwhile, I’m left without a fully functional solar system while their archaic “customer service” process plays out.Based on this experience, I regret buying any Renogy products. If I could, I’d return the entire Renogy setup (panels, controller, etc.) and go with a different brand entirely. Not only are their products not reliable (don’t depend on Renogy if you’re trying to go off grid), but you could be without power for a long time while you navigate their archaic support process.

So we ordered this Renogy Battery Monitor for our travel trailer. Overall it's a nice unit, but it can be a bit frustrating to set it up. One issue we faced was the length of the shielded wire from the shunt to the monitor. It is only about 19.6 feet long and we needed to add another 16 feet to it. The wire is not something that you go and pick up at any big box store. It's a tiny 26AWG with a shield around it. But we discovered that Amazon also sells a 26 feet version of this exact wire. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082ZPGYHZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsSo we ordered the wire and sure enough it's the exact size and specs. as the Renogy wire. The only difference if that one end of the plug does not fit the Renogy. So, we used the end that fits the Renogy, then carefully cut the wire to the desire length and spliced it to the wire we had. It is important to take your time and be super careful when you cutting those tiny wires. It is best to solder them together and tape them good with electrical tape. Make sure you connect the shielded wired together too. Our works great and without any issues.
