EXCELLENT!! Small size is a bonus. Feels well made and works perfectly.Had 1 issue, in that I could not connect to my BT Smart Hub. The plug only connects to 2.4Ghz wifi (as in description). I have a dual band hub and have never had a problem connecting 2.4ghz or 5ghz devices. However this would not connect at all. It was eventually resolved by going into my home hub and splitting the combined dual connection, into two separate connections(one 2.4ghx and the other 5ghz - a simple click of the mouse). It's easy to do and all my existing devices stayed connected. The plugs then installed first time. So it was a bit of a faff, but once you know this is the resolution it takes about 10 mins change the hub settings and install the plug.

Picked these up in a Lightning Deal, because I also picked up an Amazon Echo Dot during Black Friday.First impressions:Install and setup was fairly straight forward. The app is simple, but contains the functions you need. Although, understandably, I'm mostly using Alexa. I'm always going to dislike having to create a separate account for these kinds of devices. I also had to for an LED strip kit that's Alexa enabled/compatible, that I have for my PC as mood lighting--by a different company, which has its own processes.I have this set of plus connected to a Raspberry Pi 3B with OctoPrint, and a 3D printer. Being able to assign different names to different plugs is definitely nice, and you can group them together. I've named the pair as "The Forge" considering they're in my hobby room where I make and tinker with a lot of things. So...I feel like I'm in Star Trek.All in all, it's a recommended buy.

I really struggled to get these working. They will not work on any modern router capable of 5GHz. Even if they're outputting a 2GHz network, these things will never connect.After wasting a lot of time, I gave up and had to connect them to a different WIFI network entirely. However for £15 for two, I can't complain too much, these work just as well as any WEMO or TP-Link device, and the Koogeek Android App, worked out ok. Haven't tried achieving any Alexa or IFTTT connections though, and it seems there are bad reviews on the apps and skills that they depend on.

I'm impressed. It fils like I always had them. Have you ever tryed to reach plug to turn on behind furniture? I did. Now with those plugs one shout to Alexa turns on my childrens fancy lights and my living room size light. No need to get my arse out of cosy sofa to turn the light off. Will get one for my bedroom definitely. Unfortnately there is no smart device to shut bedroom door when you're already snuggled in bed. lol.Plug itself was quite tricky to set up as I couldn't get my phone to turn on 2.4gHz network,but as soon as I've managed-Alexa shouted that she discovered a plug! Brilliant!

Brilliant smart plugs. Very simple to set up and use. I had them connected to my WiFi and the app, and working all within 5 minutes. They are quite slim compared with others I’ve seen.They work great with my Amazon Echo, using just my voice I can turn them on and off. I’ve created scenes and times and schedules for them and they seem very reliable.

I could not help but notice reviewers of this smart plug found it to be very easy or impossible to install. The problem, I believe, lies in the quick start guide. All the guidance you need can be found there, if you follow all the links and read them slowly. The first part, getting it to work with the Koogeek app, was the easy bit and only took 10 minutes but getting it to work with my Amazon Echo took the whole afternoon. However, once completed, I had a voice operated appliance which will save me having to crawl behind a very heavy 3 seater settee to operate a switch, which makes the whole job worthwhile. I must add that having completed the first, it only took 10 minutes to install the second plug.

Download smart life app instead - will save hours!Thought this would fit in with all my other device, ring doorbell, nest controller, cctv - all connect to WiFi - but this refused...kept timing out. Did all it said in instructions and really tested my patience....HOWEVER, tried different app and it said, press button again for a slow blue flash and it connected to the 2.4g rather than the faster pairing flash that seemed to only recognise the 5g.Would have thought the developer would have appreciated most routers are dual or tri band.App I used was called “smart life”.

These are just fantastic and SO reasonably priced. I've bought more of these and they really are game-changers! I use them to set my heating, lamps etc. They are super easy to set up - all done in 30 seconds. One thing to be mindful of is to ensure you download the latest version of Koogeek Life app. First time I tried, I failed to set them up but later discovered I didn't have the correct version of the app downloaded. Once I rectified this, it was totally plain sailing. Love them! Also didn't realise until I got them that you can schedule lights etc to come on, as you can operate it the same as a timer!
