The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide

Epic conclusion
I have loved this series from the first read! What a great way to end it with this book. I'm a bit sad it ends with Book 6 because I could read plenty more books about the Bailey twins, their friends, and their many adventures. Highly recommended for children and adults alike!

One of our favorite book endings ever!
Olivia's review: I have to be honest, I was a little bit disappointed with this book. I've been keeping up with the series since book one, and have loved every single book progressively more as the series went on, but this one was a bit of a let down. That's not to say I didn't still love it and fly through it in a day - there was just a little bit of the usual magic in the series that was missing. That said, this was an incredible finale that I would highly recommend. This book is a real page-turner. In addition, I loved getting to see how each character's story ended, since many were highly anticipated (like what happens to Froggy). In general, though, I think the best part of this book is the beginning and the end. This really knocked the whole thing out of the park, making this one of my favorite book endings ever. The creativity is really what made it special; I've never seen anything like it before. Overall, a really great book that was originally a bit of a let down, but has a spectacularly memorable ending.Oscar's review: When I reread the first book in the Land of Stories series this year, I thought how much this series has adapted and evolved from the first book to the last. I thought about the characters and how they grew, and how it seems like we, the readers, have been actually reading about growing, changing people - Alex and Conner. When I finished the first chapter of WORLDS COLLIDE, I thought to myself This can't get any better. But I found myself saying the same thing after each chapter. Chris Colfer kept me on the edge of. my seat, always making me think I knew what was going to happen, but always proving me wrong. He also added amazing twists such as (Spoiler), being able to get out of the magic mirror by helping someone. Overall, this series, from beginning to end, is amazing.

Epically Entertaining
There are very few children's books out there that are meaningful, adventurous, and witty at the same time. This book and the entire series in general passes my criteria with flying colors. Chris Colfer weaves an entertaining story dappled with humor and suspense that keeps you turning the page at 4:30 am or whenever you think, "Just one more chapter."We first start with a meet-and-greet at a bookstore celebrating Mr. Bailey's 80th birthday. Mr. Bailey is, of course, Conner Bailey himself, so this is quite a time jump into the future. This chapter was amazingly written and absolutely necessary for many reasons, the first of which being the little phrases hinting at economical cars, paper not made from trees, and apparently illegal caffeine 65 years from now. (That's right, Starbucks lovers, get your caffeine fix while you still can.)But there's more! We find out that Bree Campbell and Conner were indeed happily married for fifty years. There is all-important information as well, such as old Conner becoming an astoundingly successful author or his faulty mind forgetting the whereabouts of his mysterious sister Alex. Other than the incredibly heartwarming chapter near the end that discusses the true meaning of happily ever after, this was by far my favorite chapter (and usually, I hate first chapters.)I won't reveal too much about the rest of the book, but Rook from book three does return and his loyalty to Alex was sweet, although I was Team Arthur all the way. Trollbella finds a new love, unexpectedly, and Bree and Conner finally discuss their relationship. This book then comes full circle with the appearance of John Bailey, the twins' dad. I won't say how, but it was an especially tearjerking chapter for me. It was an amazing conclusion to the amazing last book of the wonderful series, and I don't think the ending could have happened any other way.So I have just one final remark to put out there:Do you believe in magic?

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!
Im a 13 year old girl and I think this book is amazing! I love how the characters are described in away that is relatable, and I love how Cris added the twist to the classic fairy tales. I loved this series so much that I actually started crying when i finished the last book because I didint want too say goodbye too all the characters, what can I say im sensitive like that! But I read a tale of magic and I cant wait for a tale of witch craft to come out! The way all the secrets were revealed in the series made me so excited too read the next book. I also love how inclusive Cris was, Conner's son had a husband, They had a female president, awesome female characters, and one of the Book huggers had two moms! Parents need to chill out about the whole "To innopropriate for my child" Thing, because being different is FINE.

Happily Ever After
A conclusion that is truly a Happily Ever After. My word this was everything I wanted it to be and more. This final book was the right amount of action, humor, and emotional. There were moments I found myself laughing out loud and even a couple moments where I found myself tearing up.Chris Colfer wrapped this story and world up so nicely but also he took some risks that paid off deeply. I enjoyed reading about Alex and Connor so much and am so saddened to see this magical story end but all good things must come to an end. Some highlights for me throughout this entire series were the creative twists done to the beloved fairy tales. Most importantly the best thing to come from this series is none other then Mother Goose. She has solidified her place as one of the best literary characters ever.My only downside was that books one and two followed a similar plot mechanic but that is just a personal preference Also I do realize that this series is geared for a much younger audience then myself.

Amazing!!!
I could not put this brilliant book down. It is full of so much adventure and mystery. I had recently being going through a phase where I wasn't reading much, but I finished this book within a few days. I would strongly reccommend this book to anyone who loves action and excitement, but if you haven't already read the first five books in The Land of Stories series some parts may not make too much sense.

A great series of books!
Bought originally as a gift for a Glee fan, I decided to give these books a go. Very presently surprised - well constructed and full of twists and turns to keep the pages turning. Loved them so much I have bought the rest of the series. Highly recommended for fantasy fiction lovers!

The land of stories
This book is wonderful and amazing and perfect although in book 4 I wonder what is the `European stuff` that Bree`s mother says the sisters from are doing and how is it different from American stuff?
