Quality Built and great price.
Feels Solid, heavy and Durable. Does not feel cheep. I like the feel of the handle, and the weight of the Steal itself. Purchase another one as soon as I opened the Amazon delivery box for this one.

I like it
So far i like it. Got this one as a spare to my other brand name one and honestly like the feel and balance better. It isnt as heavy as the fiskar but works good for the already split logs etc. Most big stuff i split with a hydraulic splitter this is good for smaller quick splits here and there.

Great Hatchet for a Great Price!
I purchased this hatchet to take camping so I could split fire wood. Keep in mind, the wood (dry seasoned logs) usually halved, so not too hard to split. Comparing this hatchet to other lighter (2 lbs or less) hatchets I’ve used, the extra weight on this one is evident and appreciated. I would recommend sharpening prior to use, but it will work regardless out of the box. The only negative thing I can say is that it would have been great (5 star worthy) had it come with a sheath. It does come with a plastic blade guard that will last a while, but I chose to purchase a sheath. So, while the price was great, if you want a sheath, the cost of one offsets the great value of the hatchet, but it’s still less expensive than others that aren’t rated as well.

Heck of a splitting maul
It's 35 bucks and splits like a dream! What are you waiting for?!!! Took it outside as soon as it showed up and put it to the test. Split post oak blocks like nothing! Feels good in your hands aswell. No complaints!

Perfect Axe for Wedge Driving
I’ve cut wood and used wedges for years. I’ve carried a regular axe and used it to drive wedges for the longest time. But not being as young as I used to be, lugging around a saw and axe made me lose some weight by using a smaller axe. Even though this axe weighs less, it does the job. It may take a couple more hits to drive the wedge, but it is worth it for the lighter weight. The cutting edge is useable. But it needs to be sharpened for anyone other than a novice. Overall quality is acceptable. If you need to shed some weight and not break the bank, this axe is a good buy.

Axe
The handle is quite long so I recommend having a visual of that length before ordering but for my needs it works great. I’m using it for seasonal camp firewood, so not used everyday but was better than my small hatchet. It splits wood great, seems sharp enough- overall satisfied with product!

Used?
The media could not be loaded. Came with a nick in the blade. Not super sharp, scratched & dinged. I wonder if this has been used, polished, & returned? It did have a little bit of oil on the cutting edge. I paid for a new one, but this isn't the kind of damage that could be caused during shipping, especially the nick in the blade under the blade guard.
