Works as intended, worth the cost though?
So far this item works as intended. The one thing I have to say is that this is basically a glorified cool mist humidifier. It works on the exact same premis, just instead of water, it uses earth friendly liquid. That being said, you could pick up a cool mist humidifier at any retailer (or Amazon.com) for far-far-far less than what this machine costs. It look nice and it works, but I was thnking for the cost that it would be something more substantial than what it actually is. That being the case, for the money factor alone, I'm not sure it's worth the cost. Then again, not being bitten up alive, it is. I'm still on the fence either way.

Efficacy?
I'm not impressed with this device. The mister is not efficient at all outside, even on a still day. I could NOT locate a refill to the original liquid product that was indicated we should use. Waste of money if you ask me.

unit can be finicky
Sometimes, the unit beeps and does not function. when the unit is functioning, it gives off a pleasant aroma. I believe it cuts down on mosquitoes, but they are still there. So i also have citronella and DEET sprays. This product is part of my mosquito mitigation.

ours never worked
I got it for my husband for Christmas. We got it out of the box closer to summer when it was mosquito season and it never worked.

Worthless.
Worthless. Did not last longer than 6 mons. You better if buying the zapper. This item is over marketing. Buyers beware!

Product broke in 33 days, Seller wouldn't refund/replace item because return policy is 30 days
Be better. And be more helpful rather than quoting your policy.The item wasn't owned for 7 or 8 months, it malfunctioned 3 days after the policy. Make exceptions.

Keeps mosquitoes away, but broke after 3 months of light use
worked for about 3 months. after refilling for 3rd time, stopped working. also noticed that plastic on the reservoir cap was cracked after about 2 months. for a product that's designed to be used outdoors, needs to be a bit more robust. 2 stars is generous - gave this because the repellent seemed to work...as far as quality of this machine - 1 star.
