Really solid, well-made, all-terrain waterproof case
Really solid, well-made, all-terrain waterproof case that is easy to assemble. Griffin had a really good reputation, shame they seem to have gone out of business. If you have an older iPad, snap up one of these while you can. They are a bargain at this price.

A lot of money for a product that has a design flaw. The hinge is a weak point.

I have ordered this product a number of times. The iPads are well protected by this case. The cover over the charging port eventually gives way, and the screen cover loses it clips. I temper this by saying that a teenager was the main user of the iPad and the cover lasted several years before needing to be replaced.

So far this case is working well for me. I thought I would not like the stand setup on the back, but I like it because it makes it easy to hold the iPad in your hand. The stand itself does not seem all that sturdy, I have popped it out (hard to pop out) but I worry the design would not hold up. It would need a brace to make me feel better. A note regarding the item arriving, it was clear that the item had been opened on both sides (the round seal tape securing both side of the griffin package was there, but clearly opened) so I assume someone had returned this item. Update: I went from 4 stars to 5. The stand is sturdy! I learned how to use it properly, there is actually a slide that you slide down when the stand is popped out to make it rigid. I have no issues with this case, I wish they made it for the newer iPads. I love this case, i can drop my iPad without worry, I use it in my kitchen, it keeps my iPad clean. I would buy it again.
