Jagua Gel can only be a blackish blue color depending on the skin, while this is a thinner liquid and closer to a gel substance than henna, it shows up more like henna. I got the 3 color pack of black, red, and brown. What you see is the before and after I washed away the dried bits. It stains more of a dark brown than an actual black in bigger areas, unsure if this will get darker in a few days like real jagua gel. It definitely works as a temporary tattoo. I used the red as shading for the black and it seems to have turned out well. As long as you understand the colors that the ink stains your skin, you can still do pretty cool stuff with it. Note: The colors you see that I used are only the black and red. The brown is very light and is much like a light birthmark color on the skin. Black tends to stain dark brown and the red tends to stain like a lighter reddish brown.

I admit the black and red henna turns out nicely if you use enough, though I’ve gotten some hand cramps trying to push it out of the little tube. The brown henna doesn’t show up at all, regardless of how much is used, how long it stays, etc. I’m very pale so it’s not a problem for colors to show up on me. The stencils are cute and easy to use but again the brown henna doesn’t work and that’s super disappointing.

I use henna to dye my nails because it doesn't chip, peel, or smudge. And black is the only color I like on my nails. Ive been mixing up powdered henna hair dye and I saw this and thought I'd give it a shot and maybe be able to skip the mixing step. It was so easy to use because it's already the perfect consistency for painting on nails and it worked great. I got full coverage and don't have to bother with wear and tear because there is none. It looks good by itself, but sometimes I like to put a clear glitter coat on top of it. I'll never go back to mixing powdered henna again. I did try it on my skin because I injured my ring finger and I can't wear my wedding ring but I wanted something there, and it's the next day and it's already kind of messed up but I think that's my fault, I didn't leave it on long enough.

Nope, don’t get this brand. It smells like straight up cat pee I used one and a half bottles it stunk at the time. But I thought it would go away, but it didn’t it lingered and it stayed. I washed it off as much as I could, but I still smell it. Even though I washed majority of it off every time the warm water in the shower hits my skin on where I put. It stinks so bad. Do not use this. It smells like a pee, infested house with cat piss everywhere. God it’s horrendous. It really is go buy a different brand. This one is not it. I threw it all in the trash disgusting.

Very nice I like the bottles I need to practice more with it. The color bleeds outside the stencils I use. I'm a beginner. I'm not good at freehand drawing so I'm using stencils. I will admit it's not as easy as it seems. However, this a very good product. It shows up nicely. It's also easy to remove if you make a mistake.

I found this product searching for Jagua gel. I was super happy to find one with prime shipping so I just ordered it without looking at the reviews. Wish I hadn’t been so rash. This is not henna or jagua, at least not the traditional kind I am used to using. I bought the black expecting a pigmented black stain. I left it on for 4 hours and am really disappointed with the color. It is brown and very faded in some areas as you can see from the photos. It also is washing off when I wash my hands, unlike the genuine brown henna I use. The after pictures are from 24 hours later. I don’t see this lasting more than a couple of days. If you want genuine jagua do not purchase this. And if you are wanting a decent brown henna, I would also look elsewhere.
