Twotrees DIY CNC Laser Engraver Kits

I bought this engraver as a DIY project, thus expected myself to learn how to use it and maybe upgrade some components. When I got the kit, it was well packaged with parts separated by what they were. The only instructions were a parts list, and a single page of pictures which showed basically what parts were needed for each step. I put the kit together with relative ease, with only having to repeat a couple steps because I missed a key part. I have now used the engraver for a couple days, and I am still working on adjusting it in order to get a more clear lines. I would recommend this kit for someone who wants to tinker and learn about how to laser engrave things without breaking the bank. This is not something you can just put together and just start engraving right away. If you want something like that, there are other options. This is for someone who is looking to tinker, and build their own laser engraver without having to buy parts individually.

The instructions aren’t very clear and incomplete. The software for it is not specified or specified how to download it. I also asked a question and never received a reply! Returned item a few days after

There are youtube videos on the assembly, that will make it easier to complete. The materials and workmanship are good. You will need to be somewhat mechanical in nature, but not a mechanical engineer.Electronics, this is where I struggled a bit, however, any questions I had were quickly answered by Twotrees. They also provided screenshots with their answers and this was very good.Software, like most is in Chinese and English. It's a bit clunky, but functional. Their are free engraving softwares that do work with this engraver.Overall, I am happy with TwoTrees and with my purchase

Some assembly required. Pay close attention to the instructions. Otherwise you will find yourself disassembling it a few times; as I did. Haha.Don’t over tighten the wheel and the rubber tracks.Install the stepper motor on the laser module cart with the connection pins facing upwards. You will thank me later. I had a small issue with the laser powering up and it came down to having wires crossed.I was about to send it back and figure, I’ll give it a try and I’m glad I did.The seller was quick to respond and help me troubleshoot it with pictures and small videos.It’s easy enough to use and I’d be glad to help anyone out with their install or settings

DON'T ORDER!!!The board on The first one, and the laser, stopped working after about 3 hours. The laser failed on the replacement after 2 hours. I waited a week after my first attempt to contact the seller (I sent a question before I ordered it, and never heard back either) before writing this review. They did not get back to me. I could forgive the defective equipment, but not the lack of communication.As for instructions, they were ok. It was sold as D.I.Y., so I expected a learning curve for assembly. It wasn't that hard to assemble, I just had to adjust a few things.

I sent it back due to the lack of information. The laser came with only a drawing to assemble the laser. I was able to get it together, but had no idea how to attach the wiring. I was able to contact the sell and get the wiring information. The software to run the laser was far more complex for me. I am sure it works fine if you can figure it out.Contact the sell before you buy and get all of the information, so you read it through.Note to seller. Provide information that will provide simply the assembly and operation of the laser. The belt tension spec would be really helpful

Product came missing pieces. The manual is not clear and it's missing lots of information specially on wiring. I got in touch with the seller but my problem was not solved. Machine turns on; however, it does not respond to the software bombox. I am trying to find online material since the seller did not provide any problems resolution with the "manual". I'll be more likely to return the laser machine if I can't figure out the problem.

Holy crud, you practically need a degree in electrical engineering to put the darn thing together. Instructions leave out a bunch of info on the pieces of which there are a bunch nor is there much info on the how to of and the order of assembly didn’t work a few times too. I haven’t even downloaded the programs yet.
