Just a gentle reminder....
Received my Flexguard Support back brace in a timely manner. Please allow me to address a few of the reviews I read before making my purchase.1) "It had a rubbery smell." Of course it does. A brand new neoprene product should have a "rubbery smell." IT'S NEW. If it didn't smell, I'd suspect I'd received a returned item.2) "It's uncomfortable." Actually, it's not uncomfortable. Adjust the straps and waist belt correctly, then sit and/or stand using correct posture and you'll hardly notice it's there. The most likely reason I can think of for the brace to be uncomfortable is that the wearer is still using poor posture. The brace isn't magic. It can't correct years of poor posture simply by putting it on. The wearer must supply the effort needed to correct their own posture. As soft and pliable as the brace is, it can only be a gentle reminder of correction needed. Now, as far as my own usage is concerned. My only comment, and reason for the 4 vs 5 star rating, is that it would have been better (for me, at least) if the belt portion was wider. That's it. I'm a happy customer.Thank you. (And no, I was NOT compensated for this review.)

First Time Using - So Far It Is Fantastic!!
So I just got mind yesterday and tried it this morning along with the 3 workouts it gives in the brochure. So far I am extremely pleased and very excited! I've dealt with back pain for many years and I'm only 24 years old and once I put it on I could definitely see a difference in my posture and how my overall back felt (which is relieved!) As simple as the workouts are I definitely felt the burn in my shoulders as I repeated the steps. I have a super tiny waist (seen in photos) so I was afraid the fitting would be off but no they really did do a great job making it super adjustable.Thank you for making this brace and making it extremely affordable!

Uncomfortable and doesn't work.
I was very excited for this product as I've had bad posture for a long time now. Upon reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I usually tend to stick my belly outwards plus a hunchback posture, awful, I know.I ordered on Thursday and it just arrived today, through prime. As soon as I took it out of the package, it felt like a very good product, smooth and good quality. But after putting it on and adjusting the straps, I found some issues:1. The buckle stays right underneath my armpit. Extremely painful and uncomfortable. If you have adjustable straps, maybe consider placing the buckle somewhere that won't ever touch the armpit cuz it hurts.2. Even after tightening it to the maximum both on the shoulders and on the stomach part, I am still able to stay on a bad posture. It doesn't really pull my shoulders back or prevent me from leaning forward either with my shoulders or my belly.I'm returning this and will look for something else that might be more useful and less painful.

my favorite posture brace
I am a yoga teacher and I'm investigating posture correctors as something to refer to my clients. This brace is excellentThe brace is solidly constructed and actually FEELS GOOD to wear. Materials and craftsman ship are on-par with the best knee brace I ever had.I like this one a lot because of its 'cummerbund' torso band. I would recommend that when you cinch that band, you include some of your lower ribs. In doing so, you accomplish two of the yoga postural cues that I constantly give:-Shoulders Back and Down-Knit the rib bones together.its possible to 'do' yoga while wearing the brace, but i really think its better to wear in everyday life and save yoga practice as something else

Sizing chart needs to be reconfigured.
Sizing chart is way off. Not only that but since the item has shoulder straps it should have maybe shoulder to shoulder width measurement or chest size as part of the chart. I’m 10lbs under the size Large and 2” shorter but the shoulder straps are fully extended and hard to get on both arms. Not only that, a full tee shirt must be worn underneath for the straps not to dig into the front of your shoulders. I tried for 1 day with a tank top underneath and it was small and uncomfortable, tried a second day and had to take off after a couple hours because of the cutting into my skin at front of shoulders. I’d try a larger size up but don’t know if it’d work and since it was worn i cannot return it.

Stitching is weak in key areas.
I do not recommend this item. I have only had this for less than a month with only 5 actual uses and the strap ripped out already. Waste of money since there is no option for refund or exchange.

Broken skin underarm areas
This brace is great. However, it is very discomfort when wearing. It doesn’t have good pad underarm area. It’s rubbing against your skin which cause skin rash and broken skin and could end up can not continue to wear. The first time I tried immediate after I received the package with my shirt on, it feels hurting along the underarm area. I tried on about 5 minutes my skin become red. If I’d continue wearing, I’m sure my skin will be broken. If this brace has some kinds of soft and comfortable pads to support the underarm area then would be a great brace. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. You will be disappointed and will be returning this brace like myself. I hope this will help you in decision of buying the brace.

Great for lower back pain.
This brace really does help keep you upright, when wearing it I notice myself standing taller. When I ordered I initially ordered a large based on the recommendations, upon arrival I tried it on and it was too small in the shoulders. I emailed their customer service and they sent me out an extra-large out with no extra cost. The extra large fits well.I work in the meat department in my local grocery store, and everything is a foot too short, without it by habit I am constantly slouching to do my work. Since I have started wearing it I noticed I am changing how I am working with the equipment to compensate for the extra support of the brace. My only beef with the brace is if you bend over a lot to pick up things, the waist part of the brace rides up, so I am constantly pulling it back down.I do have a lot less pain after completing a 7 hour shift using the brace, than I normally would have without it.
