Rev-A-Shelf 45 Degree Pivot Hinge for Sink Base Tip-Out Trays

Our drawer in front of our kitchen sink had these hinges or something similar. I'm assuming they've been there a long time, but the drawer was no longer staying closed all the way. Ordered these to replace them and they worked great! They're fairly easy/straight forward to install, but that depends on where exactly you're installing them and what may be in the way. I had someone help me, but it could have been done by myself, the second person just made it a bit easier. I've only had them installed for a little over a month but so far so good - they're holding up well and keeping the drawer closed all the way!

Used these pivot hinges to replace existing hinge that had a missing spring on one side. They were slightly different than my other hinges, but still did the trick. Installation was tricky because the screw holes were in slighly different places and I had to drill new holes. Not easy in such a tight space, but workable.This basic pivot hinge should last a good while, and the price is reasonable.

I had some older hidden shelves and the hinges were wearing out and no closing all the way. This fixed it

I think it would be helpful if it included instructions. While I understand how to install the hinges, others may not. Overall a good product though.

Instructions were clear and templates were provided for predrlling holes.

Works nicely and I used it in conjunction with the sink front bin, a bit pricey though (like all of their products).

While we did get instructions, they did not include the template. This quadrupled the time needed to install them. The pull out drawer closes really hard. I wish it closed a little softer, it would be easier to use.

Bought two pair of these to replace existing hinges that were worn out. They fit perfectly and were easy to install.

I was hesitant to buy this after reading a few reviews. One said that their hinges didn't stay open and another said they didn't close all the way. I don't have either issue. Maybe the springs are bad in some of the hinges that get shipped or maybe they just weren't installed properly. Mine stays open with the panel attached and it closes all the way.If you're not sure how to install, I would recommend taking a piece of MDF or plywood (to simulate a part of the cabinet panel that will attach to the hinge bracket) and covering one side of your cabinet opening so you can position the brackets that go on the frame while being able to see how the hinge bracket would attach to the panel in the closed position. This way you can see how the hinge would open and where everything needs to be attached. Then decide if you need to add any support depending on what type of cabinet you have. Mark the screw holes through the brackets and drill starter holes for the screws. The most awkward part is putting the actual panel in position and then marking the screw holes on that. It's not bad if you have some clamps. Just make sure the panel is exactly where you want it to be and that the hinge is flush with the panel's surface before you make the marks.
