Segway Ninebot LOOMO Advanced Personal Robot and Personal Transporter, Black

The Loomo is being sold in 2022 with Android 5.1; which was released in 2014. Segway claims to still be releasing updates and apps for Loomo, but that seems to just be a false advertising pitch. The apps it has are not that great and the self following mode does not work as advertised. It shows that it will stop if someone walks between you and then continue to follow you when the person has passed. In reality, it will stop and immediately start following the person that walks across between you and the scooter. The Loomo's head is made with what feels like a thin/cheap plastic that would easily break if the scooter ever tipped over. Having an S Plus also, I know these Segway Self Balaning Scooters do tip over when you step off sometime or just lose control while riding.

Disappointing to see it’s not sturdy as fin was broken

If you want this product to work in your favor right out of the box and you aren’t tech savey; this product may not be for you. What I love about this product is it’s infinite amount of abilities it has as it allows you to program the bot to fit your exact needs. It’s not for everyone but it most definitely is for me. I like my LOOMO. In the most common instances; outside of setting programming, certain settings are very user friendly and easy to use.

The thing is pretty awesome when it worked fully for 3 weeks. There were def something missing for my personal video and photographer I had in mind for business to have Loomo follow film me walking and discussing various potential multi family apartment properties for saleI got this item Jan 14 it, for no reason before 1 months time, just under, in AI mode Loomo just loads non stop in AI mode and has never spoken again :( Havent had chance to see if this is common or if they will replace. I did pay my IT guy to try to fix. He did all troubleshooting recommended and could not fix.

Does not ride like the normal Segway. Still many improvements needed to be made.. wasted money at this point

Loomo, does exactly what it claims. It follows me down the street carrying my belongings, only problem is at night time he loses sight of you and big deal, if im not mistaken it's not recommended for nightime use. It's pretty interactive but just the fact that he can carry my groceries and follow me home was worth the money and as a hoverboard, it's rides amazing.. love this product. Im guessing the nay sayers are just probably scared of it and not willing to learn.

The media could not be loaded. This is been a very cool item to have put a lot of smiles on peoples face but more importantly when you spend over 2K for something you deserve to have more updates over the air and the customer service experience has been awful hope Segway team gets it together to make the experience better
