Short review: Excellent view due to extended focusing range, good bright light, not having to attach to mobile for power means connection is stable, stiff wire means able to maneuver for extended lengths, excellent app allows rotation of view, can take photos with app, excellent display.Long review: Lost a doorbell wire inside wall, not down, but up towards attic as mistakenly took up too much "slack". Needed to look for a black wire in a black space, 2' x 6'. First scope bought had a focusing range of 2-4 INCHES. Couldn't see anything until on top of it. Difficult to maneuver as wire "less stiff". Bought this scope. Impressed from the start. App well done. The extended focal length made it a lot easier to scan space, then close in to object to identify. Separate battery with wi-fi connection very helpful so could set scope, then hold mobile without worrying about dislodging a usb connection. Could rotate display in 90 degree increments to orient display without having to move scope. Lights adjustable. Scope small enough diameter to fit through a knock out hole in an electrical switch box to view inside of wall. The 3 attachments SCREW into the barrel of the camera, making the rock solid, unlike others that clip on.The stiffness of the wire would prevent it from maneuvering through many twists and turns, as in a pipe, but as long as you have some type of access points, the stiffness does allow you to twist wire to rotate camera if the camera is moved to 90 degrees from the cord before insertion.Full disclosure: Attached photos did have additional illumination, but scope's own illumination was sufficient when working to grab cord. Was lucky to get this on a lighting deal

I purchased two of these a couple years ago and have used them for many things including finding out where pipes and wires are in the walls, checking out sources of leaks in the house and even exploring a rat nest under a tree. My brother in law uses his to check out how baby birds are doing inside their egg and in their incubation area. The 33ft length was a mistake for my use cases. It’s just very difficult or impossible to maneuver beyond several feet unless it’s being guided through a conduit. Sadly the control box is a bit fragile and the micro usb charging port detached internally and the unit will not charge anymore. I suppose for the price I got good use out of it, but a little more robust construction of the control unit would go a long way.

Taped camera to a drain snake with tape every foot and a different color at 3, 6, 9 to make it easier to keep track of how much was down the drain. Found tree roots seen in photo (head of drain snake in bottom right of photo). Easy to use - just read and follow instructions. Picture quality on my iPhone was great. Connects with WiFi transmitted from the camera's power supply end. Can adjust LED lighting for best photo and can flip scene 90 degrees to make it right-side up. YouTube video by Bump on sewer camera was great instruction. Just what I needed.

Overall, this item does what it is designed to do: provide a wireless borescope functionality.Three things to keep in mind however:1. The effective resolution of the camera is dependent on the fixed focus, which is not far from the end of the camera itself. This item is not appropriate for viewing any inaccessible volumes or deadspace, rather it excels at viewing specific, small points that are out of reach.2. Related to the above point, the brightness is good, however it cannot really be appreciated beyond or within the focus of the camera. It is sufficient to illuminate a small object, just be aware of the incidental shadows as well.3. The length of the endoscope is great and the semi-rigid nature of the line helps, but controllability quickly goes out the window after about 5 feet in any open space. This item would be best at accessing an object through a continuously tight, closed space. I have not tried coupling this with a fiberglass fishrod yet, but that is the next test...Hope this helps any potential buyers!

Es muy fácil de hacerlo funcionar. Se descarga la app, se enciende, se conecta a la wifi del dispositivo y listo. la luz es potente, pero solo si se centra bien. El cable no logra pasar bien ni dar la vuelta por si mismo, pero se solventa usando una guía y amarrando la cámara. Inspeccionamos una tubería del largo de la cámara sin problemas (usamos una manguera como guía). Ahorré el dinero de una costosa reparación usándolo para localizar el tapón de la tubería y solo corregir esa parte. Se usó mientras la tubería tenia agua y no tuvo ningún problema.

Bought for identifying maintenance issues in roof spaces with limited access. This has a very long cable and the light on the end is effective enough for the job. It has a brightness slider on the unit. Connecting to the iPhone app was very easy as well. Still best to have reasonable but not over the top expectations of picture quality. Best when trying to locate something or check for blockages etc but not to expect HD video quality like from your phone camera.

👎Not rigid, not even semi-rigid👎the optical wire bends under the weight of the camera tip👎you extend it 2 feet and it starts to twist and bend ( how anybody can use it like that)👎the camera tip is not protected with any rubber ring ( very easy to damage the lens)👎 the android application is not developed well👎 the quality of the video is not good ( I am getting some ribbon effect interference over the screen of my phone?!👎 ONLY Wi-Fi connection ( no wired option)👎 AND THIS MODEL does NOT have DUAL lenses ( it looks exactly like the one with 2 lenses) BUYERS, read better than I didI WANTED TO TRY THE DUAL lens model... worried now it will have the same technical deficiencies though.👎 It is getting HOT after just 5 minutes of use... HEAT CANNOT BE GOOD for electronics.. can it??!!!I WILL RETURN IT on MONDAY !!!!

I like this camera very much. The cord is quite stern but can easily bend through narrow spaces. The wireless connectivity is flawless. The options in the app are limited but are enough for the operation of this device. The video quality is great. The focussing of the probe is also wonderful. On a full charge it lasts for about an hour and half. I strongly recommend this camera. Customer support is also wonderful and response promptly for any support queries.
