Book was awsome for beginners who love to practice calligraphy. It helps to practice calligraphy in a step by step procedure way.

It contains a knowledge for Beginners but I feel if it could have added more space for practice

I purchased this guide after searching for a good one for a really long time.. Trust me this is hands down one of the best guides for beginners. I say this because the author has put down very simple and elegant instructions that anybody can understand and follow easily. There's an ample amount of space to practice. The author not only aims for the lettering,but also for all the additional strokes and swashes that's needed for calligraphy. I'd say I'm fully satisfied buying this guide.Note - it's better to use a plain A4 paper under each pages when you use markers that are dark and you think it might spread to the next page.

It's a good book to practice hand lettering. A little bit of prior experience is needed. One thing to improve- the paper is very thin hence leaves stains while using brush pens/markers while practicing.

This book is really good for beginners. I like this book because the basics, which tools should be used as a beginner is explained very well. There is lot of blank space avaliable to practice. Overall it's a good book.

I purchased this Calligraphy Workbook for my daughter, and it's been a huge hit! She enjoys it so much that it keeps her entertained for hours.The provided tips are really helpful, and the practice pages are excellent for skill improvement. Despite some comments about paper thickness, our experience with it has been very good. This workbook has sparked her passion for calligraphy, and I'm excited to see her progress. I highly recommend it, perfect for both beginners and enthusiasts.

The tips are nice but the paper used for this workbook is much too thin. If I use my good fude markers they are too generous with the ink so it bleeds through to the other side. Which means that the instructions and samples on that side are obscured by the bleed through! What’s the point of trying to use cheaper markers if I don’t end up with consistent results from how I learned? I did buy her practice paper pad as well and that paper is awesome! Wish they had used it for the book!

I love this book for getting started in calligraphy, the only issue I have is that the ink bleeds through the paper really easily making the practice letters on the other side difficult to see at times.I am sure it would be amazing if the paper was thicker, more list a dot journal or a well made adult colouring book.
