These dust cap fit most older Ford vehicles
I have a pickup box trailer made from a 1966 Ford f100, used the front spindles to make a solid axle. After 40 some years the hub bearing dust caps were rather bent and rusty. My 1966 Ford F100 wasn't listed that the dust caps would fit.I looked up the Ford part number the dust caps replaced, and found the the Ford number was used on a 1966 Ford F100. Bought the caps, fit with no clearance issues.

Finally a perfect fit
Third or fourth dust cap we tried and finally found the one that fit! 1969 Chrysler New Yorker with a 440, front axle with disc brakes, 1.78” OD is the true measurement for this product.

Two different parts under the same part number. Be warned.
Ordered two of these to replace the banged up caps on my mustang that I am refurbishing. While they have the same Dorman number, they are in different packaging, and are different in appearance. One of them is just a nice plain cap, the other one has "CHINA" stamped right in the middle of it. The plain one is MUCH preferable to advertising that the car has Chinese parts on it now, even though I know it does since you almost can't get anything made anywhere else. (Even the MOTORCRAFT brake pads I had the dealer locate for me are stamped "Made in China"! Go figure!) I've attached pictures so the reader can see what I mean.
