It's the great Outerwear's quality and build in a sheet that can be formed and cut to fit many needs where filtration and some water resistance comes in handy.Great for a pre-filter on a bike as I used it on my supermoto airbox.

Does what it should, flexible design/shape.
Installed this as part of the custom intake on my Jeep XJ. It does a nice job of stopping dust and plant/insect matter from clogging my filter without restricting airflow. For the price, and peace-of-mind it offers, I am very satisfied with this product. Being able to buy it in a sheet instead of pre-fitted shapes allows me to use it in custom applications which I applaud. My air filter stays cleaner much longer with this installed before it too.

Good fix for my 97 Yamaha vmax 600 snowmobile
Bought this to prevent fine snow from entering the airbox on my 1997 Yamaha Vmax 600 Sx and have been super pleased. You can cut it toy whatever size you want and it keeps most fine material out.

The media could not be loaded. It is breathable and works great. So water might drip through but it definitely doesn't just run straight through it.

UPDATE: For me, the biggest selling point to this was the water repellent application as I used this to make custom snorkel intake covers. When I received it I took my cutouts and placed them under running water from the faucet and the water didn't pass through the filter even while holding it taut. Well after a single ride it no longer does this. Now its just a basic pre-filter. Nice to have, but not what I wanted.ProsLight weight,Easily adjustable and or removedCan be rotated to hide handle so it's out of the way if your not using it.ConsNot enough stitching. Needs more reinforcement.Slides easily on roll cage, should have some sort rubber on the inside to help keep it in place.It's alright and will work however I'll probably end up putting some extra stitches in the strap that holds the handle on as it's already starting to rip and all I did was install them and put about 1/4 of my weight on them say 45ish pounds.
