FlashpointZoom Li-on X R2 TTL On-Camera Round Flash Speedlight Kit for Canon (Godox V1)

Love the versatility of this flash with its modifiers. FYI - Flashpoint is the remarketed name from Adorama of Godox lights. I'm a pro and have used many speedlites over the years. My older Godox li-ion units had gotten a bit beat up and less reliable and when these came on sale, I bought one. Found it quite reliable and the ttl works better on this unit than other godox units I have had. Love all the modifiers and the way they snap on. THe round dome diffuser is the best I've found. It stays on and its small so it doesn't get knocked off.Be careful with power as this has less than the older units but is very sufficient for any event I have shot so far with it. I do try and minimize the flash look so I shoot high iso and wide open often for events so the flaqsh output is kept quite low.

Everything came in great condition no issues at all!! It’s VERY VERY minor, but they didn’t include the had that is pictured. WHICH IS NO BIG DEAL AT ALL! I’m glad all the other important things were in the package! That’s most important!!

Everybody talks about Godox and Flaspoint just about small facts...I’m trying to be realistic about this flash, this is why I gave it not 1 star but 2 stars.What I don’t like!If I compare V1 Godox vs Profoto A1 it’s a huge difference.Yes GODOX/Flashpoint they overheat!!!!!!!Not at full power but at 1/8 Power if you use continuous shoots like 10-20 of shoots they overheat ... yes I understand we don’t need always burst or similar but they overheat and if you take to many photos in a short period of time after that it takes 10-15minutes to cool down.... to gain some recycling speed again!Modeling light on Godox/Flashpoint doesn’t have zoom like on Profoto A1!Profoto NEVER OVERHEATS you can use Profoto A1 at full power daytime to overpower the sun, anytime !I used Profoto at full power for 80 shots and the flash still was firing, I stopped because I didn’t want to press more light button it was too much....But Profoto A1 it doesn’t overheat !!!And radio signal Profoto is far superior to Godox/Flashpoint or Canon Speedlites try By yourself ...

This has a great battery life and able to light an event scene. Great recycle time.

Great flash considering it’s price. I’d match it up against anything in performance, perhaps not as robust for pros but for the price you could buy a couple spares. User interface is very good, works perfect with trigger.
