How many liters of cola does it pump!? That’s a key number to know.
Surprise! I did not realize this was the smaller one compared to the pump that originally came with the kayak! So lesson: check the liters it pumps. My original pump does 2.9 liters of cola per pump and this pump does something like 1.2 liters of cola.Oops. Yes it works. It is way more back pack friendly but it also takes about twice the time to pump with a shorter stroke handle so you really get a workout on larger items. Would be perfect for pool floaters and those smal floating rings but just a lot of work on a full inflatable kayak.

Adequate for Price
It gets the job done, especially if you don't have power. Particularly for the price, it's adequate. It pumps quickly enough and is lightweight for travel. But because it's lightweight and plastic, it's also somewhat fragile. The first one I ordered (and tested w/the new air mattress before my camping trip) - well, my 3 year old was playing with it - not very roughly, but also not as intended use - and he managed to crack the plastic where it fits into the air mattress. I probably could have taped it or made it work but didn't want to take a chance - so I purchased a new one. For $8, I figured what the hell. The hose falls out of the pump kind of easily so just be mindful of that while you're pumping...

Far too fragile for reliable use
Super fragile, and the hose/nozzle pops off constantly during inflation. Tried to use it to inflate an Intex King Kool, was fairly gentle with it. Held it in two hands to pump rather than try to foot-brace it. In the middle of pumping the top handle that is screwed in popped off and the threading had cracked. Still screws in fairly well but I know it's only a matter of time before it breaks further. The hose nozzle would not stay put even with very firm attachment, and I spent almost as much time reattaching the nozzle and placing it back into the float than I did pumping, which was really obnoxious. I may return this, or say f' it and gorilla glue both the top handle and the nozzle onto the hose. But out of the box I was disappointed with the durability of this pump.

Works but dang
You'll be spending a good 15 mins at least per session with this little guy and its quite the workout. I noticed that sometimes the bottom undoes itself while pumping pretty often and its tricky sometimes to make sure you are pumping and the air is getting in there. This pump is really small for the amount of air it needs to pump to inflate most INTEC things so be prepared or enlist a small and able child.

... air blows out of them instead of going in like it's supposed to
The flapper valves at the top and bottom of the pump don't seal and air blows out of them instead of going in like it's supposed to. I have 2 bellows style foot pump for large air mattresses and thought this should work as well on a small pool mattress. It 'should' have but didn't. The valves are too cheap. I'll try using petroleum jelly on the valves to make them seal.

Useful and affordable hand pump.
Used to pump air into the Intex Water Floatie that is used for tubing/lazy river floating. Easy to use, but definitely have to put your back into it! Haha. If you want something easier, definitely go with a pump that is battery operated or electric, but at this price-point and knowing you can utilize this in any environment is great. We were able to pump a bunch of our rafts in no time! Since I don't use this often (except in the Summertime), it feels like this will last a while. Also, it's pretty light so that's a plus.

Excellent output from a smaller package
Im really impressed with this little pump. I used it this weekend to pump up my thermarest neo air and my caddis float tube. It inflated the mattress in about a 2 minutes and it did the float tube in under 5. Yes it is somewhat on the fragile or thin side but it's light and relatively small so it fit in my pack with minimal hassle.Even if this thing breaks tomorrow I'll be buying another one.

Good for what I needed
Gets the job done. It says it's double action, I'm not sure that's true, but as long as you're not blowing anything huge up you should be okay. I can blow up a baby pool with three separate inflatable compartments in a few minutes. The hose has popped off twice but that hasn't been a problem. It weathered a trip to the beach very well despite getting a lot of sand in it.
