Cope's Dried Corn is grown in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. This dried sweet corn is produced from a special sweet corn variety that is harvested in the early stages of growth, processed and air dried to make a wholesome dish that families have enjoyed for generations. This dried corn is also useful in many corn recipes.

Not The Wonderful Dried Corn You Remember
I grew up having Cope's dried corn for every major holiday dinner. Today's product is nothing like it used to be in either texture or flavor. It is now more like a coarse ground meal. The flavor is off. They have tried to correct it by periodically changing the recipe on the packets, but it doesn't help any. I dislike this product so much that I bought a dehydrator and plan to try making my own dried corn. So if you expect this to taste like the corn you grew up with - don't buy it. You will be sadly disappointed.

No "Non-GMO" label
The label does not say "Non-GMO, so you can assume that this corn has been genetically modified to contain insecticidal DNA. We did not have to worry about this 75 years ago, but, sadly, now we do.
