SS10817 Camshaft Sensor

Worked perfect, resolved the problem

ODBII scanner showed this sensor failed and my car would not start properly - after installation (took about 30mins) i cleared ODBII codes and checked again and everything was fine. My car started right up perfectly. I drive a 2003 Nissan 350z Performance.

I have no issue with the product but since this is a Nissan part I am giving it 3 stars for ease of installation, OMG, what a total pain, Why Nissan? Why bury it so far behind the engine. Oh well, it works great. I installed it while doing a Valve Cover gasket installation, with the valve cover off and most of the other stuff moved away it was relatively easier, not easy, to reach behind the engine. Tips for installation, First remove the screw holding it. Do NOT attempt to unplug it because this plug you have to SLIDE the clip to unlock the device, not possible while upside down and your head is stuck there. Pull it out the you can slide the clip forward to the sensor and hear it click then pull the sensor, no click no sensor LOL. For Installation again put it in then put the screw and tighten it then plug it.

This product came in quickly and was as advertised. I was able to change part myself and it fit properly as Amazon verified before purchase. The part was what i needed to solve check engine issues I was having with my 2007 Nissan Murano.

product was failed after i installed in september 2018 then in decembe 2018 my car started to stall and had hard starts, i pulled the service engine code and it red bank 2 camshaft sensor fail! I contacted amazon by chat since i could not find any info concerning the warranty since no info was found on the original order, amazon chat says i have to go to the manufactuer and amazon only offers 30 days refund. Dont most products have an automatic 12 month warranty ?? i would not have bought it if i knew it would only be warrantied for 30 days! I thought delphi was a good brand! NO MORE ELECTRICAL DEVICES FROM AMAZON! ESPECIALLY HARD TO REPLACE AUTOMOTIVE PARTS! BUYER BEWARE! THESE PARTS ARE JUNK!

It worked but the car didn't feel 100% until i put oem. This is a good replacement when in a pinch and can't spend $100 on a tiny sensor, but it is no long term solution for these sensors.

I installed it in my 2003 Infiniti G35 and it worked a treat! It's a tight fit to get the old sensor out but it just takes time and patients. I was worried that this non Nissan branded sensor might not work but for the price difference it was worth the gamble. Lucky for me it work great.

Replaced my left sensor, the previous one caused a check engine light. The part itself is easy to replace, you basically push in the green connector button and snap the plug out, you then unscrew the sensor and replace it, you might have to take the engine cover off to get access to unscrew it. Great product, the shop was charging $114 for it.

installed august 29th 2018 failed november 2019th after only 5000 miles, dont waste your money

Sensor was not compatible with my 2006 G35X.
