6 Feet PS3 Component AV Cable, Premium High Resolution HDTV Multi Out Composite RCA Audio Video Cable for PS2 / PS3 / PS3 Slim Gaming Console

I got these because of the discrete composite connector, which my HD Retrovision set doesn’t have. The build quality on these is alright, nothing special, but it’s nice to have a cable set that works on my modded TV. Just look how clean the picture is. Yowza.

I used this cable to plug into a GBS-C. Works great. Looks good.

I picked this up for $8.50 and for the money, I was surprised. With budget priced cables, your mileage may vary. Make no mistake, something like a $30 HD Retrovision has beefier internal wiring and better shielding as it should and is a quality top tier product, but I was surprised on the overall build of these for the price. I pitted the two cables against each other and for my use of PS2 + 27" CRT, I would say the difference was marginal (for me) at best. I was forcing myself to look for differences in the two and things were not night and day different. If I was doing a test between the two not knowing which was being used it wouldn't be easy for me to discern. I have nothing but good things to say about HD Retrovision, but if I'm being honest with myself and was on a budget, the budget option is fine. I think it's a case of marginal gains for the HDR cables and do you want to pay $20 more for ~10-12% improvement? Granted HDR's will more than likely have better long term durability as well. But if you need something Good+Cheap, these cables had great value for the money. I would say B+ for the product itself, A+ for the value.

I wanted to buy this cause my PS3 HDMI port broke so I went and try this out and the picture quality was the same as HDMI but at first everything had a purple hue on everything some color didn't look correct so I didn't complain cause it wasn't that expensive but all I had to do was plugged in again and everything look normal I got what I wanted will definitely buy again if I had to

The connection pushed back into the casing. So I broke it apart to glue it back into position only to find poor soldering job. Also there was nothing in the inside to keep the connection in place.

On modern TVs, which are less forgiving unlike old tube models when it comes to cable quality, this cable makes my old PS2 games look as sharp as possible.

for the money this is the best 480p Ps2 cable I could find... anything else will be over 30 bucks I was shocked it was as good as it was for only $14... still I wish I would have just went with HD retrovision or someone had a $20 option with little big better shielding id be happy with a cable that is 90% of what a HD retrovision is for 20 less...

This is way better than the original video cable that came with the ps2. Great quality. It puts out the best picture you can get out of your ps2. There is a hdmi option as well from another company which I have as well. I couldn’t tell the difference between the two. It just depends on if your tv has the RGB or not.
