It fried my CPAP battery, but great customer service
Update:. I spoke with someone from the company who said that the controller between the solar panel and the battery is defective. Very soon they will have a new solar panel and a new controller. I am willing to give them a try again next year and if it works I will change my review but for now, I would hold out for the next version. In the meantime, I would go to the laundromat daily, do a load and charge my battery at the same time. It did cut into my time, but it meant I could keep camping and enjoying our trip as much as possible. The last two days I was able to not go in to the laundromat as two hours charged it about 50%.I am sending back the solar panel for a refund, and we'll see next year how it goes. For their customer service I am raising the Stars a bit. Before you buy, I would check with their customer service to see if the quality of the materials has improved....I am so very upset. Currently, I am camping, and before we left, I tried it out in my back yard to check it out.At that time, it worked, but I only had it plugged in for about 2 hours. Two days later, we left to go camping. This morning, (in the middle of our trip), I went to plug it in. I kept the battery in the shade, under the table, and kept as much of the cables in the shade. We puttered around the camp site for about an hour, and when I went to check on it, the BSP SP40 Controller (model: SP40-CTR was fried. It was super hot to the touch, and when I disconnected it, it started to rattle.I immediately disconnected my battery, (I'm glad I only connected one), but, it fried it. The batteries and connector were over $500.00.Depending on how the company responds to my request for not only a refund, but a new battery, will depend on if I change my stars and review.I still suggest not, not, not getting this. Not only did it fry my battery, but we now have to cut our vacation short, and I now will be out the campsite fee for the days we can't stay.As I said, I'm pretty upset. I guess you could say that I am pretty fried as well.

Awesome product!
I took this solar power panel system to the Canadian Boundary Waters and camped for a week. I needed it to supply power to my CPAP rechargeable battery (that powered the cpap machine). It charged the portable battery to about 60-75% each day. It was sitting out on a rock in the partial sun for 8-10 hours daily. It charged on cloudy days, as well, but not as thoroughly. It IS weather/waterproof (the panels, not the connections to battery!). I was VERY pleased with this item.

Charges on a cloudy day.
This solar panel kept my freedom battery charged for 7 nights in the Quetico wilderness. Even on all cloudy days it charged the freedom battery to 100%.
