This is a beautiful, high quality ornament. I purchased as it is of personal cultural significance as I am from Louisiana . Though I no longer reside in the state, retaining the uniquely, rich Louisiana culture is of great importance to me. Clementine Hunter is a Louisiana cultural icon and this ornament allows me to both share and enjoy her artwork during the celebration of the holiday season.

Bought 2 for a gift that was unique. These are really really top quality. It helps if the person receiving is familiar with folk-art and Clementine Hunter, but even without that, makes a fantastic conversation piece when hanging on a tree. Actually, can be used hanging anywhere and any time of the year, as it is an art object. Lastly, inexpensive considering it is hand made and hand painted.

Every bit as beautiful as they appear in print and even more. I bought 2 for Christmas gifts and recipients loved them. Great gift and passes on an unforgettable period in our nation’s history (shameful).

This is my third Clementine Hunter ornament from Gitter Gallery. The products are phenomenal, unique and a perfect addition to our home. I had the opportunity to speak to the owner/artist and he was a perfect professional: customer centric and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am very disappointed with this ornament. I love Clementine Hunter, and that is my daughter’s name. I wanted to give her a Clementine present every year. The painting is sloppy, and there are several bare spots were there Is no paint. I have thought about buying paint to touch up and correct it. This is probably a product to buy in person so you can inspect it. At this price, the quality should be much better.

I gave it to my sister-in-law for Christmas, and she was very happy with it.

My mother has a Clementine Hunter painting my father bought for her 35 years ago when we lived in Louisiana. She loves the painting and the story of Clementine Hunter, so I was beyond thrilled to see an ornament by the legendary Southern painter and had to buy it for her for Christmas. It arrived within just a few days and is perfect. I can’t wait to give it to her!! 😊

My mother loves Clementine Hunter so I thought she would really like the ornament but when it came in it had stains on it. On top of the stains the painting looked sloppy. It looks like Clementine Hunters style and actual depictions of the town she lived in but the ornament painting just looked sloppy. I ended up returning it and getting my mother something else.
