CHROME UNDER SHELF CUP HOLDER (HOLDS UP TO 12 CUPS!)

I read previous reviews before purchasing this item. The biggest complaints were that the rack won't hold 12 typical coffee mugs, and that the hooks aren't movable. I decided to give it a try, because I really only needed it to hold 5-6 mugs. I also figured I could return the item if I didn't like it.1. The product description lists the dimensions as 10 7/8" x 7" x 2 3/8". The rack actually measures 11 1/2" x 7 5/8" x 2 3/8". The cabinet for which I purchased it is 11 1/4" deep. Because of this discrepancy in the measurements, it doesn't fit securely on the shelf.2. The hooks are not very wide. The handles of my mugs were too wide to fit into the hooks well. The mugs did not hang straight.3. I tried the rack on a shelf that is 12" deep. The metal part that hooks around the shelf is curved instead of flat like other racks I have seen, so the front of the rack does not sit flush against the front of the shelf. This causes the rack to slide around, even with the weight of the mugs hanging from it.4. I requested a return from the seller. The seller emailed me, stating,"Please be advised, as per our return policy advertised on Amazon.com, a 10% restocking fee will apply. Additionally, since the product is not faulty or incorrect, we cannot take responsibility for the shipping costs to and from your shipping address."The product was only $15, so it wasn't worth it for me to pay the return shipping.Overall, I think this is a bad product. I don't recommend it. Also, I will not be making any further purchases from DBRoth due to their return policy.

We purchased 2 of these systems because we thought, from the lower product photo, that they could be adjusted to handle 6 larger mugs instead of just 12 tea cups each. Unfortunately that is not the case. The seller should remove the lower photo in the description. That being said, the product is solid and performs well. Since we have 12 Fiesta Ware cups, we hung 6 on each of the two racks. The one thing I would suggest is to put a retaining screw on the lower, rear bar which connects both sides of the rack. This will prevent the rack from hanging down at all in the back.Product is well made and super easy to install even if you put one small screw in place on your own. It is designed for small tea cups if you plan to hang 12. Otherwise you can hang much larger cups or mugs if you simply use every other hook. Since it is chrome plated steel, I expect it will last for years and be easy to clean as necessary. Plastic was not an option for us with heavier cups.

It doesn't hold my mugs as well as I'd like, but that's okay. It was an experiment. It's great for small cups/mugs. We have a few of those, so the holder holds those ones. Our taller mugs still sit on the shelf. Also, if my shelves were easier to adjust, it would've helped my cupboard organization. I could've had the hanging cups above the mugs that sit on the shelf instead of next to the hanging cups. It didn't save me as much shelf space as I was hoping since I can't adjust my shelves up and down very well.The seller shipped quickly, and the product is good quality.

It looks like there are two possible orientations for the hooks in the picture, but in reality the hooks are fixed so you can only hang cups facing forward. This means for a regular size mug you can only hang one on every other hook. Also, the hooks are really small, and so aren't a great fit for the handles of the mugs either.Otherwise if you have small cups or have ones with a stackable shape this will probably be okay and is fairly sturdy.I'm not going to bother to return it, so I'm using it as a small rack to hang other things on a pantry shelf.

This is a good product. However, you hook it over the back of the shelf above it and that makes it hard to put anything on that shelf. It also gets weighed down in the front from the cups. I would recommend fixing the cup holder by the front with something.

Works well for what I wanted. Was still a little long for my shelf, but still fits with the door closing. Great for decorative tea cups. It's not attached by anything, just slid onto the upper shelf, so you sometimes have to be careful when removing the cups.

The product photo includes 2 images: one upper image where the hooks face sideways with many tea cups hanging; and a second lower image where the hooks face front with 6 mugs are hanging. I thought from this that the hooks could swivel. I had wanted the hooks to face front so I could hang 6 mugs. The product I received has hooks facing sideways and they are welded and cannot move. At best, I can hang only 4 mugs. The lower photo should be removed if the product really is the one pictured in the upper photo.

what I needed for was good . I would recommend this rack I just wish it would hold more of the bigger ups or a third rack added
