Nice design
I needed a rechargeable flashlight to place in my basement in case power went out during one of our legendary mid-West storms. This device had all the features I wanted. It doesn't block the second outlet receptacle when plugged in.It has a nice night light function that is just the right amount of light for that purpose. The emergency light is bright when the power goes off.The flashlight cast a nice wide bright beam.Very pleased with this purchased. I suspect that I'll buy more as gifts for my daughters to use.

Great light
Perfect amount of light as a nightlight, brightens very well as a flashlight

Good
Only disadvantage is that they stay lit even if the room is only quite dimly lit. At dusk the lighted flashlight comes on, and only goes off when it is very dark. Can not answer about battery life as I have not yet UCSD ™ on battery power.

Emergency lights
Actually they seem to work quite well during the daytime they're off at night time there used as a nightlight when the power went off they turned on. I didn't use them more that 1/2 hour. brightness seems to be a little bit dim but they do last at least an 1/2 hour.

Big and bright
Very bright light. Came in handy during a power outage. A little bit big. Takes up a lot of space.

Reliable/trustworthy, practical, easy to locate.
Right now they are more ornamental than practical, although they do serve as "beacons" of sorts in the night, relieving me on turning on an overhead or lamp when passing through the room. I'm sure they will be real handy when the first power outage happens later this year.
