Arrived within 2 days, brilliant condition.I would recommend this series of books to anyone. The story will fire the imagination of a little one.I am reading them aloud to my 5 year old and she is really enjoying the story.

I love these books but am sad that they have been rewritten to remove things that were perfectly fine and of their time. E.g. the names have been changed from Fanny and Dick to Franny and Rick. This is so unnecessary. When reading to my 3 year old books that I loved as a kid, I want it to be the same version so she can love what I loved. I bought these for a friend but I deliberately went on ebay and ordered a second hand original version to read to my own daughter.

I gave these to my grand daughter for her burthday, so didn't actually receive them myself. However, as a child, I had these books and read and enjoyed them so much, that in the end they were falling apart!! The stories give children so much scope to use their imagination. My children were brought up on these and they are continuing the trend. The books are full of good old fashioned adventure with memorable characters children can readily relate to. Children will go back to these books again and again and can invent new magical lands for themselves, great fun!

Bought these for my 8yo Grandson for Christmas to hopefully entice him away from video games! He hasn't startrd them yet but it's OK because his Aunt has told him if he doesn't want them she will take them off him as they were her favourite as his age!
