Antiquax Original Wax Polish

My first tin and I’m already a convert. This wax is the best I’ve ever used. I use it to restore antique wooden hand tools. I also use it on my wood working projects. It goes on easily and buffs to a beautiful luster. The odor is not unpleasant like some solvent based waxes. Why the title? The tin arrived on the hottest day of the year (so far). It was mid April in northern Virginia. The tin sat in our mailbox from approximately 1 pm until 5pm. When I opened the tin it was a goopy gloppy mess. I left it in the basement for a few days and it hardened nicely.

Used it for years on old furniture. It just works. That simple.

I wonder if this is a fake. It smells like petrochemicals. Same label but smaller. Could be a copy. Do people here remember the smell of the original one? It’s not as clear as it was. It’s the smell that bothers me. I think I’ll order one of the beeswax polishes on here

Another shooter had a beautiful gun stock. I asked him what he used on it and he recommended this product. I’ve tried it once and I like it. Will need to try more. Nice tin that holds the paste and goes on easily

i use it to polish my furniture . it puts a shine like no other and protects the pieces. i use it on old pieces and it totally transforms them.

Smaller than expected. Good brand it has quality for many functions. My husband loved it in his holiday stocking. Highly recommend.

While the wax itself is the best I have used the container was about 1/4 shrunk from the full mark when opened. When we used to get it the amount was near the top of the can but this one was about 1/4 lower and shrunk around the edges. The product picture on Amazon shows a MUCH larger container. Seems to be deceptive advertising.

Much smaller container than the last one I bought (elsewhere); admittedly it was quite a while ago.

Llevo usando esta cera muchos años. Es incaustica (repele el agua). Se aplica una pequeña cantidad y se extiende como si te dieras una crema de manos. No hay que esperar mucho para sacar brillo porque se endurece. La superficie del mueble queda como acristalada y dura bastante tiempo. El olor es muy agradable.

È da tempo che la cercavo ottima come sempre.

Cire complète & nourrissante. Bon produit. En revanche, laisse un voile beige sur un bois clair comme l'érable, par exemple.
