Great for beaches and solo camping in busy campsites.
I love this thing, nothing better then to be able to have your own firepit at a campsite (just make sure youre allowed to do that). No need to dig out an actual pit, get some rocks and all that. Just sweep away any potential dry bits, or set down a fireproof cloth for good measure and set this down. Have used this roughly 10 times now and still holds its shape, joints get a bit stiff, but nothing a bit of oil and repeated motions won't work out every time after use. The case is really the star of the show, it gets everything in neat, and has space enough to fit a fireproof cloth inside for good measure, along with my ferro rod and a bit of fat woof. Still very much a luxury item, not sensible to take of weight is a concern, but great to take of you're going to camp on bedrock shores or beaches. Works on a campsite deck as well, aslong as you have your fireproof cloth and permission for the campsite owners. Not as performance oriented as a solostove, but a lot more compact to keep in the car or stuff into a backpack.

Great addition to my winter camping gear!
This was easy to set up. Light enough to throw on my ski pulk with some wood. My teenage child had said that snow camping would be more enticing if there was a fire to lounge by. I went on the hunt for the right product that would work in our deep wet snow of the PNW. I combined this fire pit with a grill pad and it worked wonderful. My fire did not fall through the snow. You can see I had a 2nd setup ready to go if we melted and sank, but the pad was just the right touch. Now the only question is - do I get another one to use to maintain social distancing when I take my girl scout troop snow camping?

well built. did what i hoped it would
this is sturdy. it’s large enough but small. our first fire was with plenty of beach driftwood. needs to be fed often. contained things well. we will see tomorrow how cleanup goes

Origami fire pit!
This is a very clever approach to a fire pan -- one that takes up only a tiny bit of space in a dry bag for river running. Love it!

Really sharp edges
It looks like it will probably wook (I've not used it yet) but I wanted to point out that the edges are *extremely* sharp and you could easily cut yourself just setting it up. I'm going to get a sanding block and take all the edges off.

Thought it would be good,I didn’t think I would love
Works well, makes setting up a fire pit easier because it’s off wet ground. And you don’t have to soak your fire pit when done, you just let it cool down. This is especially handy for day trips, it can take many hours for a fire pit to burn out especially if tree roots catch fire. You can unintentionally start wildfires that way. Weight isn’t too bad if you split the grill and the pit between friends.

Bra tillbehör om du vill kunna använda briketter när du grillar med Wolf and Grizzlys grillgaller. Skulle inte rekommendera den om du planerar att geilla med ved.

I bought the campfire trio a couple of weeks ago and last weekend used it on a camping trip. The trio sets up very easily and quickly. I used branches and other small kindling as fuel in the pan and had a nice hot fire pretty quickly. Setting up the wire top grill is simple and the three levels are great to have depending on what you’re cooking. At meal times, I used the mid level to cook sausages and the highest to cook a tray of roast potatoes or pasta , burgers and roast veg. It was good and sturdy and the collapsible frame holding it was firm. I also got the fire starter flint and once I got the hang of it, was able to start the fire match feee. Clean up is easy, theres a microfiber cloth included with the grill to rub off the soot and I gave it a once over with some steel wool. It rolls up in it the cloth and goes in a small zippered bag with the frame. Same for the side wall/ foldable bottom components. And they’ve got their own small zippered protective case to go in. It really is a five star product. Well made, easy to use and small and portable. I would absolutely recommend the trio and congratulate Wolf and Grizzly for making such a stand-up product. Don’t forget to read all of the instructions, it makes it a lot easier to set up and clean properly if you know how. I’ll be looking forward to cooking some great meals on my grill again in the future.

Pretty cool little portable fire pit. Expensive for what it is but quality is there. Won't warp or fall apart. Set up is easy and the case is great. Heavy for backpacking but great for walk-in bushcrafting or kayak/canoe/bike camping.

I own several firepits but this one is my favourite because it’s so compact! I’ve used it quite a lot and although it’s suffered inevitable discolouration and very slight warping from use, these issues don’t actually affect its use at all. Since it does sit quite close to the ground it’s best to place something underneath it when using it on grass, as it does tend to leave scorch marks. But all in all an excellent purchase and fast delivery from the supplier.
