TowersTac 1" Cyflect Disc Hook-Backed Glint/Glow Morale Patch

Purchased for day pack that I use for night time biking. Exceptional material is reflective and glows; no frills. Goes great on maxpedition velcro exposed sections and no issues with hook and loop separation from material; nice and solid edges. The reflection power is extraordinary, and anyone looking at you near any light source is going to see these light up.The GITD is a nice passive glow for those with adjusted vision, and is a nice bonus. If you carry a bright flashlight you can momentary-on to excite them and they will glow for a while. Same glow as your watch hands, a nice green. Cars passing you give them glow, and so does passing in and out of lit areas. These do not produce enough GITD to read a map, they're for indicating your location when the lights go out. Think of situations you might be using a head lamp or a flashlight; passing the beam over these will indicate by reflection where you are with the beam on you, and will glow softly when the beam has passed. Great for group night time activities like cycling, night running, night hiking, and caving; really any night time flashlight worthy activity with a group.For those looking for a place to add this to MOLLE, purchase some 1 inch velcro tape (like the stuff you'd use to tame the wires behind your TV or computer desk, no adhesive), and thread it through the molle. This will give you a secure flat fuzzy surface to attach this to, and if you don't like it you can always remove the velcro tape... or add it back for night time applications... or make little bracelets out of them for the wrists and ankles of your friends and family. Fourth of July walk to the fireworks? Yep! The applications are limitless, these are just that versatile.For the price vs. amount you receive I would call this a luxury product, as there are less expensive alternatives out there; however, I would definitely purchase these again. If you're looking at this you probably should too.

Just like their other patch, When they get dim just a little flashlight on it for a minute will help charge the glow again. Velcro is super grippy, no worries about falling off or accidentally getting pulled off. You really have to put effort into it to remove these from a velcro strip. They are pretty small though. Check the measurements in the description. But they do work and so far they are the best patches I have purchased. It is both reflective AND glow in the dark. If you need reflectivity and the glow then these are great.

I purchased a new Maxpedition for when I go out hiking (hunting Pokemon). With it being so hot I'm doing most of my walking at night so I wanted to make more visible. These work perfectly. They're small enough to fit perfectly in the front velcro patch on either side of the main patch I have. When charged they don't glow very long but they do glow brightly enough to be seen, and as soon as any light hits them they reflect very bright. It's a very small subtle touch but it goes a long way. I would highly recommend these.

I am fairly impressed with these markers. They glow fairly brightly and for a considerable amount of time. The reflective and the fluorescent construction create a synthesis so that, at an angle, they appear as a glowing dot. They fit very flush against the surface, only protruding two millimeters.

Reflective Cyalume Cyflect devices are in MY opinion the best most versatile personal marking device that is low profile, highly visible without the need of power. At night when not charged (with light or UV energy) these reflect light perfectly. If you get a chance to charge them (with your flashlight or walking from daylight into pitch black) they will be an instant eye catch. Perfect for your EDC.

Hands down best marker patches I have ever used. They illuminate immensely. From my timing and testing, they glow for about 30 min. Of course they dim as time goes by but that is to be expected. I use them for markers on my work pack that I carry and they're great. Definitely buying more.

Super reflective, wish I bought a larger size. My miss understanding. The best Velcro patch out of the 25 I have recently purchased for my Service dog. We got hit by a car 8 days ago and were not wearing the dots, it might have made the difference. Need them just bigger

Very cool. I go into work in the early hours of the day. I have to walk across a dark parking lot. I put these on my backpack to make sure I'm seen while walking.
