Can I apply only this product to my Formica countertops and do they need to be sanded prior? My counters already have a granite look.

If you are just trying to achieve the glossy protective coating and look, yes, you can apply this. No sanding needed. But make sure they’re super clean and free of dirt, grease, lint, etc... If you’re trying to change the look of your countertops though, you’ll need one of their kits, such as the marble kit, etc. to paint them. Hope this helps.

can I apply multiple layers of epoxy to make it more durable and stronger for heat and scratches?

This is not required as one layer of our Epoxy is sufficiently durable. If you do this, you will need to let the first layer of epoxy cure for seven days.

After I apply this can I use disinfectant and cleaner regularly. Because the giant kit with top coat says you can’t use cleaner on it

No, they recommend just using Dawn dish soap and warm water

Do you have to put a top coat on before this kit or can i apply this epoxy resin straight on top of the marble kit with no other top coat?
