My favorite base layer
This is my favorite base layer. It fits true to size and looks good enough to wear by itself. It's also very comfortable and the fabric feels better than other base layers. After many trips through the washing machine, the fabric is holding up nicely.

Perfect base shirt
This has become my husbands favorite shirt. Washes with no issues.

Perfect base layer for chilly weather.
There are 2 version of MBL 110 base force heavyweight there is (95% polyester 5% elastane spandex) and ( 80% polyester 20% wool). The poly/elastane has a tight waffle weave. Durring strenuous hiking/climbing at 20°F the poly/spandex is cooler when venting out heat/sweat than poly-wool blend. I prefer the poly-wool because its all around warmth/ breathability. Its more of a smartwool feel and reduces sweaty B/O. This is my 4th year wearing carhartt poly-wool instead of my smartwool and marino-wools.

Great Quality, Weird Sizing
I am 6'-2" and 210lbs, well built. I first purchased an XL at a local store and loved the shirt. It was a little big in the torso so I looked for a large tall, no luck until I hit amazon. Purchased a Large tall and it arrived in a day. great quality again but it is EXACTLY the same torso as the XL, only longer sleeves. So, the XL fits me OK but a little too big around the torso. The Large-Tall fits the same but with longer sleeves. Still too big around the torso. I wear both and they are both real nice, feel good, but the fit around my trunk is never right. Too big for a trim person without a gut. I still think I can suggest you buy one, they are well made, wash well, hold up great but are sized sort of strange. Maybe they make a medium tall? Have not worn a medium in a few decades....

This is actually heavyweight
Bought this for my son who has nerve damage in his arm. I first bought the black. Titled heavy weight, it was not. I received this pkg and it's literally more than double in size. I now returned the black. I only realized this AFTER reading reviews. Which in reality the blue and grey ones I bought last year were medium weight as well. I currently bought the green. Waiting on that one to see if I actually do get a heavy weight item. *
