A little tricky to put together, but STUNNING for your players!
Even unpainted, this will surely wow your eberron or other D&D campaign players. Give it a shot if you want something larger than the standard Skycoach!

Be patient.
I've been assembling laser cut MDF projects for awhile now and I must admit, this was one of the more challenging projects I've put together to date. The design is clever, but it does take some level of coordination and a lot of patience. You can't move quickly on assembly of this model. One of my favorite aspects was the fact that the laser cuts go all the way through and removal from the punch boards is easy - they literally fell out! Why is this important? Many times you will get such a project and punching the pieces out can be difficult, especially if you don't want to splinter the wood. This company did a fantastic job ensuring quality cuts.My least favorite aspect, and as others here have said, the instructions and the video (link to web site included in the package) are fairly poor quality. It took a lot of patience and some time to analyze the pieces to figure out some of the steps required. You literally need to put 2 and 2 together in many cases. The instructions are completely lacking in detail when it comes to assembling the interlocking wooden pins of various sizes. This took a moment to figure out which size went were and how they interlocked together. When starting out, it is a bit of a precarious build and I personally feel they overcomplicated the first four pieces. These could have easily been created as two primary pieces - but this would require a re-layout of the MDF punch board and a slightly longer shipping box. Two pieces would have also made it a little sturdier. After the built was completed, I had several pieces left over. I believe they are "extras", but one piece in particular isn't listed in the instructions (as far as I can tell) and I don't see any obvious location for it on the model - In the last photo showing extra pieces, it's the odd, round piece.I have found that gluing pieces together and clamping using binder clips helps create additional sturdiness, especially on the top deck stairs, etc. If I had thought about it soon, I probably would have glued the entire unit from the beginning to give it a little more regigity.Once mounted, the unit is slightly wobbly but overall, it seems just fine.I wish the base was an acrylic stand. A friend of mine has a laser cutter and I might disassemble the base and give him the armature to replicate the stand in acrylic for me to give it a true "flying" look.Overall, 4-stars if you're not dissuaded by poor instructions and a challenging build.2020-03-16 UPDATE: Just purchased a second model for ship-to-ship battles. Paired this with the Melee Mats Vinyl (Sky) Battle Game Mat - 48x72 and of course the Dungeons and Dragons 5e Eberron Rising from the Last War campaign book.

It's good
It was a pain in my butt to build, but overall I really like the product.

Great.. while it lasted.
It looked fantastic. Recommend using a little glue in the construction in a few places. Sadly, it was attacked by space kittens and crash landed. It wasn't salvageable sadly, but it received a proper send of in style.

Amazing feat of engineering, until it crashed
Our first flight on this airship, a white dragon managed to land on it and, with one nasty breath, kill our pilot causing the airship to crash and leave us stranded on an island. You would think with the advances in aircraft design they could install something that would prevent dragons from landing on it or at least shield the pilot from breath weapons, but noooo. There was also no in-flight beverage service, so I'll have to give this one only two stars.

Fun build
This was a fun project for DnD. However, there are some issues with the directions being vague and lacking step by step details and having very small print. Another issue is the sturdiness of some of the areas of the piece. It was knocked over, which is a user issue I am aware, and two attached pieces snapped off. This was remedied by using super glue, but the structural integrity of the piece is in question and I am having to come up with solutions to strengthen the vulnerable areas.

You'll need to sand the stairs and use some glue, but an amazing product!
I really like the product! Upon construction, you will need some glue to keep some pieces, and sand down the stair pieces from the main deck to the upper deck. It isn't bad, but just be ready.

Beautiful Model Ship
This was a hard model to build because there was an issue with the instructions but I contacted the vendor and they were wonderful to work with. I have to say they are one of the best companies I have ever worked with. I have ordered many many products from them and they are my favorite vendor. Strongly recommend due to amazing customer service.
