Excellent addition to the 4K FireTV Remote (2nd Generation)
I bought this add-on device purely for the ability to use a standard headset to watch programming while using my Fire TV stick. The LED light is an OK addition, but isn't really all that helpful because if you use the Fire Remote for any length of time you know where the buttons are at. Where this product shines is its ability to pair with the Fire TV stick via Bluetooth to enable the use of a standard headset for listening. I found the product very easy to pair, and it works great. I've not had a single problem. There are caveats to consider:- The remote connects via Bluetooth, which still has a functional range limitation of about 33 feet. If you are further away from your television that that, you likely won't have any sound.- Recharging the remote only recharges the Remote Plus, not the Fire TV Remote.- The Remote Plus works only with the Fire TV Stick... it does not provide audio for any other source of video/audio.- The Remote Plus pairs with your iOS or Android phone via an app, which is useful to update the firmware, and to allow you to locate the remote. It also enables you to activate the Tilt sensor, which turns on the LED like every time you touch the remote (in my experience,) which is more of a pain than a plus in my book. For those wanting to add a Bluetooth headset to their Fire TV, this is an excellent option. If you want a Bluetooth headset adapter that works for all of your viewing needs, then look at a different product.

Incredibly useful, I can't believe this thing doesn't have 10,000 5 star reviews
I was a Roku guy for the longest time, and since Plex is much snappier on the Fire Stick, the only thing holding me back was Roku's headphone connectivity private listening mode, which is an absolute must in my household. I got a new TV recently which doesn't have bluetooth and decided to try and switch officially to the Fire Stick and use it's built in bluetooth connector. I successfully connected my headphones to the Fire Stick, but unless your headphones have volume control you can't control the TV playback volume -- and that's a major problem.Enter the Remote Plus. You connect it to the Fire Stick's bluetooth, plug your headphones into it, and voila you have volume control. Adios Roku.It integrated perfectly into my existing remote, so much so that if you had never seen a Fire Stick remote you probably wouldn't know it didn't come like that normally. Using it an hour or two a day, the battery seems to last about 7-12 days, after which you just plug it into a charger for a little bit.It does do some other things, like for some reason it has a kind of little blue LED flashlight that you can't really use for anything useful, but the real reason to get this is for the headphone connectivity.I researched some other options, like connecting a bluetooth transmitter to my TV, but the solutions that actually allow for easy volume control all cost more than the actual Fire Stick itself. It took me so long digging through janky bluetooth transmitter reviews to stumble on this gem, and I can't believe this isn't recommended across the web as the #1 option for Fire Stick users looking for a private listening experience.I've been using it nearly every day for 2 months now, and this Remote Plus thing is an absolute godsend. Until Amazon adds their own private listening to the remote by default, this is easily the best option, as it's relatively cheap and works flawlessly.

Watch TV without disturbing anyone else
I like to watch TV at night and the walls in the apartment complex are thin.I try to be a good neighbor so this has been a perfect solution. I can watch TV as loud as I want and no one else can hear it . The set up is OK, instructions come with the device. You have to remove the back from your remote and replace it with this instead, it basically is a bluetooth device. you may need to charge it beofre using it ( a charging cable is provided). plug in the headphones into the bottom and you can watch TV without disturbing anyone else. For some reason I have difficulty using these when I wat ch Hulu . So if Im wathing Hulu then I decide I want to use haedphones Hulu will freeze. Not sure why, may some thing to do with my TV. Otherwise no problems using it with Amazon Prime, Disney+, Peacock, Starz, HBO, Apple TV+ , etc. I hope eventually they come out with a version so I can just use my airpods without having to use wired headphones. but otherwise this has been a great solution
