Excellent for streaming, sounds great out of the box
The microphone does everything it claims to do on the box. It delivers the same quality as more name-brand options at a slightly lower cost, and is built fairly sturdy. What I especially like about it is that it includes a 3.5mm jack on the bottom for real-time monitoring, allowing you to hear everything the mic picks up without any audio delay. The only things I dislike is that the stand doesn't really allow one to adjust it up and down, being that it's fairly tall, and that the connectors protrude out the bottom in a potentially vulnerably way. Still, these are very minor things that do not impact its performance. Do note that this is a condenser mic, not a dynamic mic. It's great for conversation, talking, inside-voice sort of audio levels. For loud recording/broadcasting such as music, you'll want a dynamic mic instead.

Great Quality and Price
Right out the box it is built very sturdy and functioning. Very simple to setup and has a MUCH better sound than my previous headphones mic I had been using for work. Various settings to find the sound you are looking for. Looks pretty cool sitting on my desk as well.

Solidly built, but outdated port
I bought this mic after careful review of this device and I must say this mic looks and feels like a premium mic. However I get a bit of static when I plug my earphones in and I'm worried this will only get worse. I think I will replace this with the Joby wavo pod at some point as it seems like a more modern mic with better bit depth and ports. i have been recording some voice overs and the quality seems good. It was very easy to set up, and works with audacity. The stand that comes with it is very good quality but you might want to get a boom arm because any vibration from the desk is picked up through the mic stand.

Sounds Great from a Novice
Firstly, I know nothing about sound quality, but I am able to compare sound from this mic to another (MAONO) that I have and for me I can easily hear how much better this mic sounds.

An excellent microphone for its price tag
For a $20 microphone, this is very well built, rivaling models such as the Yeti. The product came well packaged, and when I opened it, the microphone was attached to the stand and ready to go. All I had to do was unpack the USB cable, plug it into my computer, and I was all set. The pattern dial on the back takes a bit of effort to move, which is good so you don't go switching the pattern on accident. I find myself using Cardioid more, but I will switch to Stereo at times. The Mute button is nice. One click to mute, one click to unmute. Simplicity at its finest. The gain dial and the headphone monitoring dial are easy to manipulate. My only con about this microphone, and it is not so heavy that it affects my rating, is that the connection is Micro USB to USB-A. It's not USB-C to USB-A/USB-C like modern connections. However, you could always buy an adapter, so it's not a huge deal. And if the cable breaks, you can just get a new one, since the cable is detachable. If you're looking for a good microphone and you are on a budget, save over $100 for a microphone and grab this. You won't be disappointed.

Decent mic, bad connector, questionable customer support
I bought this mic ~4months ago for the full $50. Sound quality is ok and gets plenty loud. The noise isolation is terrible. I used this mic with a roommate and even whispers from them across the room were picked up in all of the different modes, while their own mic of the same price had the same sound quality and did not pick me up. Non voices are better isolated so this mic should be fine if you live alone. Mic comes with a 1 year warranty, 2 if you register within 30 days. The usb micro b on the back of the mic makes this product e waste. It will wear out on you and then the mic is useless. Especially for the price this should be usb c. Mine has already started to have issues occasionally disconnecting and I need to wiggle the usb to get it back. I reached out to Movo customer service requesting to return the mic past the amazon return window. This was rejected though I was told I could send the mic back for a replacement but I had to pay shipping one way at least. I decided this was not worth it for now as the mic mostly works and I'd rather not throw away more money for a replacement that will also wear out soon. I also requested a partial refund to make up the difference to the current sale price of $30 given my issues, though this was also rejected. Movo is not obligated to do a late return or partial refund, but this would have been appreciated and there are certainly other companies I've used that would have done this. I regret not returning this mic immediately, stay away. For the same price there are much better options from better companies.

Excellent sound at a great price
First the TLDR - It is a great desktop mic even at twice the price. I am actually using this to record on hold messages for an enterprise phone system but the quality of the sound is certainly podcast or youtube worthy as well. I found the ability to monitor on headphones directly through the mic and have volume control to be a real plus as well. The mic and base are metal and fairly heavy and just feel like a quality piece. The only complaint I have is the micro USB connector. First, it should be USB C but more importantly the internal connector itself is a little bit short so it you are not using the USB cable that came with it, the plug sticks out a bit and makes it feel unsteady. That said, you can't go wrong with this mic. I can enthusiastically recommend it.

Works like a charm
I use this twice a month for podcasts I do for an organization I volunteer for. It's work well. I also use it for Zoom board meetings of another group I volunteer for.

I recently purchased a Movo UM700 microphone. I am extremely pleased with it. I have found the quality of recordings I have made with it, its build quality and its range of features, all to be of superb quality. I had a minor technical query regarding the product so I contacted Movo. I received a very prompt, polite and helpful response. I will definitely be looking at buying Movo products again, as I am delighted with both their product and customer service. Well done Movo.

Strongly resembles the Blue Yeti in appearance and features. Side-by-side comparison with the Yeti (switching back and forth with both plugged into the same hub) shows that the Movo UM700 is slightly less sensitive. I would say that it's 90% as good as the Yeti for one-third of the price, which in my mind is great value for the money.
