Working fine, all good

The media could not be loaded. Initially thought of get the screen replacement outside, but saw some good reviews if the product and thanks to ton of YouTube videos for replacement.Follow simple manual instructions, it require patience and will have very tiny screws to handle.I lost 3 screws and support cover in the setup. Some how manages the extra supported screws. Be very careful with screws.It takes 2 hours for sure, I have to do twice my camera was not working first.I’m happy was able to save good amount or end up buying new one. It does the job for occasional work.Thanks

Updated, March 2022:Worked well for 8 months before the hinge wouldn’t allow the screen to close all the way (it would bounce back open). Two months later the pixels at the bottom flashed and went black. One week after that the whole screen went black and wouldn’t work. Definitely was the monitor as I’ve replaced it again with a screen from a different provider and the computer still works great.Original, Feb 2021:With the help of YouTube this screen was not too difficult to install, but I would have been lost without them. Tons of tiny, different sized screws that you need to keep track of.Two days in and the screen seems to work as expected, although it seems to be a tad darker than the original screen. If you want a super bright screen, this may not be the answer. Otherwise it is a perfectly acceptable replacement screen.

Im beyond happy with the product and the service. The screen came 5 days earlier than the expected date. I was skeptical at first but after installing and seeing how bright, clear, and new it was I knew I made the right choice. Now my only concern is seeing lifetime span. Ive had it for 4 days now. Lets just hope it lasts as long as I need it to.

I have a MacBook Pro 2017 A1708 and it works perfectly fine after screen replacement. Before you make a purchase, make sure you look at item model number.

My Applecare ran out last year and so naturally that's when my laptop (A1706 2016) decides to fall off my bed and crack my LCD. I called a few places including Apple and I kept getting quotes from around $600-700 . I decided to buy this screen and install it myself using a combination of youtube videos and a guide on ifixit(.)com . . There are some cons though, I think it's just a tad bit darker than the original MacBook and the color hue is slightly different. I had to make some adjustments.I'm only giving it 4 stars because the camera quality is HORRIBLE and unfortunately I zoom a lot for work. Now I've had to use my iPhone. really unfortunate.

The screen arrived in good packaging to avoid shipping damage. The installation was easy when you follow the Youtube video. Make sure you have the right tools to get the job done otherwise you can damage your Macbook! The downside is the screen is not as bright as the $400 plus OEM replacement screen which was a disappointment, but for the price can live with unless you rely on this screen to do photo, or video editing. The local repair shop wanted $800 to repair and for $195 it was worth fixing my 2017 Macbook pro. AGAIN if your doing image or video editing and you rely on this as your main screen then get the more expensive OEM screen to get a better color because you're going to need it! If your like me, and I connect two other Wacom Cintiq monitors to my macbook pro (yes there is a way to connect two monitors even if they say the M1 chip can only do one) then the macbook pro screen is not that important...give yourself a an hour or two to get it done right... hope this helps!!! My daughter had set her Mac on the top of her car while she was loading her daughter and everything that comes with into the car. She was in a hurry and once she was on the road the Mac flies off the car and smashed the screen beyond repair. My husband wanted to fix it for her for Christmas. It looks like brand new now! Definitely recommend!
