Before I begin my review, I would like to state that iron skillets (be it any brand) are not something that is easy to handle and clean. To start with, they are very heavy. You will observe that they are not non stick and the handles get heated while slow cooking. Besides, such skillets need to be maintained well (should not be washed with soap after every use) and periodically seasoned for long life. So I would give an adverse review just because of these points.Pros:The cast iron skillet is well seasoned and polished. The finishing is really good and the skillet in itself lookes sturdy and good value for money.The skillet dissapates heat well and perfect for slow cooking. The thickness of the skillet was uniform and had looked Like a product that you would pass on to the next generation.This skillet is way better than the Rock brand skillet (I bought one and had to return as I did not like the quality).Cons:As written earlier, the handle of the skillet gets hot and one needs to use a cloth or a silicon handle (sold seperately by Amazon). This is something that Amazon provide with the skillet. Or, a wooden handle could do wonders.Secondly, I felt that the skillet was so big that I did not have a lid suitable for it. This is a big downside. I did not see Amazon selling this seperately either. Something that I would love to have.Overall, i feel that this product is highly recommended.

Decent, value for money. The 12" Skillet is heavy and big but perfect for preparing sufficient meal. You won't be requiring a bigger skillet in future. Lift it with both hands so that you don't hurt your wrist. There were few finger prints on the back side of the skillet. I assume it's a returned product. But that's ok with me.But when I pored hot water into it to wash it... I saw few greyish marks on it. Even after washing, seasoning and cooking these grey marks are still visible. But I'll continue to use the same pan because the issue seems to be the minor one.Maintenance is required. Cast iron will survive forever if it’s well cared for, but it won't forgive your clumsy mistakes.

Giving it 5 stars bczzz.... Its something i always wanted... wanted a cast iron cookware fr long but wasnt sure like if m gonna use it actually after buying and how to maintain it.. was aware of its health benefits but was lazy to find something like this... was always tempted watching English movies whr some cow boys using this kinda skillet out somewhere or fire camp.. nyways...I was in love with the brand Lodge, USA. But its too expensive to try with.. So i found this here..I did ordered 12’ skillet.. and i hv no regrets with my purchase... Its very impressive... quite heavy, well balanced designed and seasoned... everything u want ur skillet to be like... cooked once and very 1st time in skillet... as expected after watching all the videos on YouTube about using and maintaining the skillet... its good.... cooked chicken and it came out good nd well cooked fr any beginner... the skillet is quite heavy for my mom to pick it single hand but thats what cast iron skillets are known for.. heavy and good heat conductor... easy to clean if u r using enough oil and putting food at rite temperature... i wiped my skillet with kitchen towel and it was clean like unused.. but still i used liquid soap for my satisfaction..I dried it well with kitchen towel before putting it off... the seasoning is good.. hopefully it will last bit long and i will season it accordingly after that...I luvd it and did nough showoff to my friends 😁Keep cooking and luving xx

Friends i just simply ordered this bcoz it it was only 899 rs. But this product is really superb ,if u love working with iron utensils then this is a must go, u can make dry vegetables, uttapam, chilla, fried rice and so many things. This pan is actually very heavy, around 3.7 kg, and the size is really really big, so small families never go for this. Bedt product from Amazon , i will surely buy more amazon cast iron products in next sale.👍

Not sure how to address but I have never been so divided while writing a review...the product is super sturdy and super durable and performs like a charm, but it is just insanely heavy...I mean there is no way a one handed operation is possible by most men, leave aside females (with due respect to them). Its just so heavy and impractically weighted that its just impossible to wield. Whats the use of a superb tool which cannot be used efficiently. Moreover, as for the sixe, its pretty big. So be sure before buying it.

I bough a couple of pieces of this pan, surprisingly, one came with a broken handle & amazon exchanged it. No complaints about Amazon's exchange policy, that's excellent, but I can't believe the amount of abuse the courier partner subjects the items to.It must be extremely difficult to break such a sturdy metal utensil.One that I'm using is good quality, easy to clean & maintain, heat retention is good & uniform. The bottom is not perfectly flat though the hot oil seems to flow away from a slightly off-center bulge that's not readily perceptible to the eye.

The nicest pant but if you don't know how to use cast iron skillet or cast iron utensils please do not buy first just get to know how to use and how to take care of them and then I would suggest any one to buy these. these are really nice it takes a lot of care taking because it is iron and it can get rusty very easily but the food is cooked in the skillet are amazing that is really nice flavours favouring is really good and yes you can make the best steak in it aur anything you need to big it can directly be kept in the oven for baking it is a good utensil must have
