Less Helpful Than Anticipated
I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery and spending more time in and around bed than usual; therefore wanted something to hold laptop or food occasionally. This item is only marginally useful for the following reasons: 1) It cannot be raised high enough to use sitting up in bed; I use if off to the side. 2) As mentioned previously, the top gradually tips if there is any weight on it at all (unnerving to have laptop slide onto my lap unexpectedly). 3) The insert tubes that are raised and lowered at not marked off by inches or centimeters; the metal button that pops into place would be very important to have here. 4) There has to be a safety issue if the top is raised too far out of the legs; the tube becomes in danger of bending or collapsing; there needs to be some safe line not to exceed stamped into the metal. 5) The unit also is shaky; if the feet were longer, it would be sturdier over all. I'm not returning it as it took 2 ½ weeks to arrive and I need it to help me right now while I'm writing and recovering. But it needs some serious improvements.

Overpriced and not nice
Multiple pieces came out of the box with scratches and defects. I was able to assemble it without too much trouble. But I still had to take the lower cross piece off and flip it over because the directions don’t point out the... plastic... things, that are white on a black piece and an extremely visible eyesore. The top tilts and is nearly impossible to lock in one position. I’m not sure why “Easy to fold” is lister like it’s a quality. The only part that “folds” is the tilting top. Which should be much more difficult to tilt or “fold”. Overall a REALLY low quality item priced in such a way that I expected MUCH more.

Great table.
This is much better than I thought it would be. It is big enough to fit my work and personal laptop on it at the same time. The only down side I have is -I don’t have enough strength in my hands to tighten the bolts all the way to keep it from tilting if I lean on it too hard. There are two bolts one on each leg that you loosen to move the table top and then you tighten them to secure it. The picture only shows one leg and bolt. So I’m scared to use my mini sewing machine on it. But for working from home I couldn’t have made a better purchase. I would buy it again. And it may work great for a bed side table for when I’m recovering from my hip surgery, when ever the governor allows surgeries again due to the virus.

Not as pictured
It's a good product, just not as pictured. Note on the desk with the black top, there are two different photos pictured. The main photo has legs that sit toward the back with a wooden cross slat, the third photo down has legs that sit in the center with a wooden cross slat....not good for people with long legs. I can't pull it close enough to use when I'm sitting because of that cross slat. I'm giving it 3 stars still because it is sturdy and a good standing desk, but if you have long legs....it's the third picture shown that you're getting. Now I'll have to buy another one.

Don't lean on it; too easy to fold
This is a fine side table and good to keep by your bed but don't put too much pressure on the front or the desk will eventually angle downward, even when the screws are tightened down as much as possible. The front stop only covers about 1/3 of the center of the table; everything else on the sides will begin to slide down once the angle is great enough to overcome the friction that keeps items on the table.

Really sturdy but stop tilting every time I put any pressure on the top it, wouldja?!
It's not that this was difficult to assemble, I'm just OCD and read and re-read the directions a slew of times before I thought I "got it" so it took me an hour. Not too shabby for a 70-year-old chick, eh? At least the directions with pictures were easy to understand. It is sturdy but it kinda makes me madder than hell the damned thing won't stay upright or flat. Okay, yes, I only tighten things with my hands, not a wrench, where needed, like being able to tilt the top so I can change the angle, but dammit every time I put any pressure on the top it tilts. I don't want it to; I want a flat surface to eat and it keeps tilting! I'm pert near ready to put some shims in it so if I want it to tilt I can do it but most of the time I just want it flat so it's like a fake TV tray but I assemble other things on it & just want it flat. It is really sturdy, I'll give it that. Ladies - y'all can do it all by yourself - I did......If you're stronger than me then y'all can probably tighten it enough the top will not tilt. Otherwise, I really love it. Takes Pledge polish nicely. Hope that helps.

The product lacks mechanical ease of use and is poorly made.
All of the adjustments are set screws such that if purchased for someone without good physical dexterity, it is difficult to adjust. The table tops (I ordered two) were both scratched and dented. The instructions are poor and don't describe which directions the parts should be installed. In one task, the wrong part number is listed. One of the grommets on the under side of the table top was misaligned such that I couldn't get one screw installed. I was able to manipulate the grommet to make the parts fit. I ordered the products on October 24th and only received them on December 20th after I asked Amazon to help me with a refund.

I don't trust this table
It's attractive I suppose, as TV tray tables go, but the way it's engineered, the top can not be made entirely stable. No matter how tight you tighten the screws, if you rest your elbow on the top of the table it will fold down. I'll keep this one and use for some thing I guess, but I'm also in the market for something that will not accidentally dump my food onto the carpet.
