Marc Anthony Curl Envy Cream - Defining Cream for Coarse, Frizzy Curls with Avocado Oil & Shea Butter - Sulfate-Free, Adds Bounce - 6 Oz

I'm writing this review strictly in regards to the scent. I have wasted a fair amount of money, buying products based on reviews, that I received and discovered I couldn't use because the smell was too strong. I have to be careful to not buy anything heavily scented because of scent-sensitive people (including ME) in my life. This is very subtle and pleasant. It doesn't smell like lemon to me. It could smell like a very light scented flower. But, the first thing I thought of when I opened it and smelled the contents was the scent that came out of a strawberry shortcake doll that "blew kisses". This was back in the 1980s, but if you are old enough to remember those dolls, this was reminiscent of that scent! Otherwise, this curl cream seems very similar to my normal leave-in conditioner, as far as softness of the curls. I have fine, frizzy hair, so my curls need to be scrunched when wet and allowed to dry naturally for them to look good. This cream appears to work slightly better than the leave-in, so I will use this when I go out and the leave-in when I'm strictly at home, because this product isn't quite as healthful and natural, ingredient-wise as my leave-in conditioner is.

I bought this forever ago but just recently started using it regularly. I put it on after the argan oil spray by crème of nature. I was considering cutting my hair short because of awful frizz, but now I want to keep it long! Hair is very soft and shiny. Idk how either of them hold up on their own, I’m used to using both of them. Smells good, helps frizz.

Love this, it doesn't make my hair crunchy and it smells real good. It doesn't take much either. Not sticky.

Good for looser curls. Not to crunchy but my fair doesn't get frizzy which I like. the curl definition isn't as great as I would like but I would probably need something with more hold for that.

Shampoo leaves my hair naturally curly and I just add the leave in conditioner. Doesn’t dry my hair and I love it

This product smells nice. Reminds me of Miss Jessie's quick dry curl cream. Nice and lemony and fresh. My waves are nice and soft when I use this. My complaint, sadly, is it leaves a film on my hair that is just gross feeling. Like I put a bunch of gel on my hair and brushed it out after it dries. I wish I liked this, I really wanted to like it from seeing all the great reviews but unfortunately, it just isn't friendly with my hair. If I could review my hair I would definitely give my hair negative 2 stars. But, just because my hair is quite difficult doesn't mean this product isn't worth the try. I would just get one tube to try if you are new to it, not the double order I chose to get.

I love this stuff! I have really frizzy and unruly hair and it tamed all my curls and made them frizzles. I haven’t found a product this great ever!

I took a chance and purchased this brand, because all of the products I’ve used (in the past several years) fail to live up to their claims. Finally, a product that keeps my curls, shiny, soft, bouncy, frizz free, without crunch or making my hair feel dirty. Tomorrow is day three and I haven’t had to refresh my curls yet! I do not sleep on my curls. I wear a custom made wig with virgin natural curly 3b Human hair. I remove it each night. It is not water processed or permed hair. All the cuticles are in the same direction. It is layered, full and below my shoulder. If I slept on my curls, I would most likely have to wet and comb out areas in the morning, to refresh curls and reapply product. I’m thrilled to have found this and highly recommended it
