Very good tool
This is a very handy and easy to carry/store sharpener. I would highly suggest removing the small chain that is attached because it just gets in the way. It does what it is supposed to do and of course, being a Lansky, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this stick sharpener.

Great sharpener
Seems to be medium grit ideal of field use. I have the Lansky rod system but wanted something I could take backpacking, this is it. Does what it should a couple passes on this and a couple passes on the belt and my blades are scary sharp, having said that you won’t be re-profiling anything with this (not that anyone expects it to)

One of the best and most easily carried field sharpeners around!
this is my favorite little field sharpener for quick touch ups on my blades! I bought both this circular one and the triangular type and I like this one the best to use on all the different types of knives I own.Works great and very easily fits into a pocket or pack and is for sure one of the essentials I always carry with when I'm in the field away from my main sharpening kit.I have one in my pack at all times! Buy one and you won't regret it, especially for that small of a price!

Functions perfectly, too big to seriously be pocketable
Works well, but kind of a solution looking for a problem. Two stars because while the idea of a pocket sharpening stone is fantastic, this just isn't it. Packable, not pocketable. It's big enough that if you're going to pack something this size, you might as well pack an actual stone this size and have much better use-ability.

Touch up machine
Nice easy to carry sharpener. You wont be re-profiling any knives with this ;), but as a quick touch up on a camping trip, it will suit you well. Lansky makes great products. My only fear with it is sticking it in my pocket while doing hard chores and snapping it but so far not an issue (very sturdy).

Handy little sharpener
I made some knives with a slight recurve to the blade, and this makes a good field sharpener. Little coarse, but works well enough.
