Easy to install. Stable...no wobbles. Best item we have ever added to our camper. We feel much safer/secure going up and down our steps.

Well designed and of great quality. Bolt holes lined up perfectly. The install was just a few minutes and we had a solid hand rail for our stairs. Leave it in place and fold the stairs into the coach just like we always had done.

We recently purchased a new travel trailer that has Lippert Solid Steps and were impressed with the way they work. My wife is physically challenged so we needed a handrail and were happy to find this one Lippert makes. We liked the features where the rail can be adjusted up or down without tools and that it wouldn't affect the storage of the steps up into the doorway and anticipated an easy and precise installation. We ordered from Amazon. Delivery was on time, the packaging was good and the handrail arrived in perfect condition with all hardware accounted for. I had a mechanically savvy person help me with the installation. We both read the instructions thoroughly before starting and agree there should be more pictures of the installation. For example, there is a separate 'stiffener' plate but the pre-drilled holes referenced in the instructions didn't match any we found on the steps. We drilled new holes where we thought they were intended, but in the end, the plate seemed to do very little for the lateral stability of the handrail. It's acceptable, but could be sturdier. Otherwise, the handrail itself is well built and is conveniently placed so our steps could be folded in with it attached (as advertised). As other reviewers have noted, more room on the steps with the handrail attached would be good.

This handrail is a fantastic value for money! The function of it is much better than I expected, I thought it would be loose, it's not! It's firm and supports very well!

package arrived open with a hole in the top corner of the box. The plastic bag with bolts, nuts, and washers had a hole with parts missing. Handrail did not fit the way the instructions indicated for three steps as described.

Not quite as easy as I had thought to connect. My husband did need to drill some holes and a couple of the pins had to be put on upside down because of the place on the stairs. It has made a world of difference when going up and down the stairs. I love them!

This also fits the Generation 4 Triple Lippert three step. The generation 4 doesn't require any drilling. Installation was easy but installing the fasteners was kind of awkward. One thing that I would suggest is to buy some good hardware to install it. If I were to install it again I would buy some quality stainless steel fasteners. I was VERY careful not to over torque the fasteners using a 1/4 drive ratchet and stripped one of the #10 bolts. It's sturdy enough to steady yourself going up and down the steps.

The railing wasn’t as easy to install as claimed. Had to get different hardware and drill new holes. In the end it turned out to be what I wanted.

It’s a simple rail that makes it much safer for my children to step out of the trailer. But the pin holes that bolt the handle in place with the bracket did not fit. I ended up needing to lock them in place with metal screws. So I can’t remove the handle if needed.
