We needed to replace an old patio storage box that leaked in the rain and was too small for our needs. I spent hours looking for a storage box that appeared to be well built, would fit within our dimension limitations, would complement our patio furnishings and be reasonably priced. The Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box checked every requirement.I read the product reviews and found myself asking how many of the negative reviews were written by people with no assembly skills (box fell apart), lived on the planet Venus (the lid warped in the sun) or were submitted by their competitors. In spite of some of the questionably negative reviews, I decided to purchase the storage box anyway.Shipping was fast, packaging was excellent and the weight of the unit was acceptable. Upon the initial unpackaging, my first observations were that the panels were nicely finished & well engineered, the hardware was good quality and the assembly instructions were adequate. I was impressed that proper assembly required a lot of self-tapping screws to secure the base to the sides, the rim cap to the sides, the reinforcement rail to the lid, and of course, the hardware (hinge/strut assemblies & securing latch) to the box. Assembly took less than 20 minutes with a torque-limiting cordless screwdriver (DON'T OVER-TIGHTEN THE SCREWS as they will strip the plastic).Our Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box looks great, and comfortably contains all of our over-stuffed patio furniture cushions and two 5-gallon buckets containing smoker pellets. It has already experienced some heavy wind-driven rains without leaking or the lid opening (the locking latch works well!). Bottom line, I highly recommend the Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box.

This is a solid storage box which is easily assembled. And, all the pieces fit perfectly, not something to take for granted nowadays.

I love this box—large size, quality, versatility, and color. I live in a small camper trailer and have an artifical grass area in front for entertaining folks. I needed a place to store my BBQ, roll-up table, and other outdoor patio-type goodies in the rainy season. This box is perfect for me: Large, locks nicely, attractive, versatile (storage and bench). I don't think it would leak, but I did buy a cover for it (Heavy Duty 600D Oxford Fabric Patio Furniture Cover) to perserve the outside and give me added proctection from leaks. This season I had no water inside after some pretty heavy rains, but can't testify to the box not leaking since I had it covered...a Great Choice for me!

Received this box quickly and intact. We just put it together which was very simple and quick. All the parts were fine without dents or cracks and all the pieces were accounted for. Our only issue and the reason for 4 stars was the left top corner would not stay solidly attached to its connected piece. We worked around that and completed the box and its very spacious with a nice fitted lid that appears to seal well. We have a destination trailer and this is perfect for storage as there is very little space indoors. As far as waterproof time will tell but aside of that issue this is a very attractive box sitting on a patio or deck. We elevated ours on extra large patio bricks to help it endure our sometimes extreme weather conditions. It is paintable which is a plus but the two tone grey and black really is attractive and it appears very sturdy. Waterproof can only be determined by time but we would purchase this product again.
