When it comes to kids, I can get pretty mushy. Also, I can get very angry when the very people, who are supposed to protect, end up being the ones doing the most harm. My Bible teaches it is our responsibility to care and love those too small to do it themselves.

I enjoyed the book very much. The ending, however, was sort of up in the air. Perhaps the author was allowing for a sequel.

I've mentioned the repetitive nature in other books, but I have and I'm sure will continue to enjoyed each story as well as character development.

I just love Cathy Sharp books I am reading book 3 about Halfpenny Orphans can hardly put the book down they are very informative about how it was after the war and they many orphan children.

Enjoyed this series. Author writes well. Looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.

Really good read couldn't put it down I read half a book in one evening

Couldn't put this book down i enjoyed the first book,but this was even better. I'm so glad things turned out ok for Alice and she married Bob even though she was expecting another man's baby.can't wait for book three

This is the third book, in this series, once you start reading you need to follow through the lives and loves of the people in the children's home.

Follows on from 1st book. Really enjoyable. Came when expected.

Many people must have enjoyed this story. I myself had great difficulty deciding who was who. Wish I could have enjoyed it more.

This book carries on from the first story. I quite enjoyed it, but found there were rather too many references to what had happened in the first book.

A very enjoyable and touching read I remember these times so I can react to some of the chapters.

Nice light reading but a really good story and make sure you think about what it must have been like in a home

I could not put this book down. Very sad at times but St Saviours Sister Beatrice and her caring staff looked after them well.
