Great little kit
I've used it a couple times with positive results. Thought it was going to be my backup tool box that I leave in my car when I forget my "real" tools. But I prefer this small easy kit. I'm an entry level tech but this is worth the money. Looks decent too

Great even for professionals
Very handy and useful, I needed the tools to do a small house installation and the kit was even complemented by a friend who does installation for living, hoping to buy it, great price also.

Great deal, but not high quality
I needed to put an end on a CAT-5 cable, and this toolkit let me do it! I looked at buying a tester and a crimper separately, but for just a few dollars more I got a kit that includes screwdrivers, pliers, and much more.Until yesterday I had never used a crimper before, and I had no idea that there were 8 wires, twisted into 4 pairs, in a single CAT-5 cable.PROS:+ The crimper crimped.+ The tester tester.+ The ratcheting screwdriver ratcheted. (watch your verb on this one)+ The case is a great organizer for a "grab and go."+ Batteries included for the little flashlight.+ It comes with 5 CAT-5 ends (RJ-45 or 8P8C).CONS:- Everything is flimsy. It's not like Craftsman or Stanley.- The bulb was broken on the flashlight (but thanks for the batteries).- No battery included for the tester (you need a 9V).- The battery is loose and rattles in the tester.- No directions for crimping (find some on the Internet).BOTTOM-LINE:I managed, with no experience, to successfully put an end on a cable. Did I mention that it comes with 5 RJ-45 connectors? They're not mentioned in the product description, but you can get a glimpse of them in the bottom left of the photograph. Anyway, I'm glad it came with 5, because it took me 3 tries, and they are not reusable. There are some great wiring diagrams and videos on the Internet to coach you through it.For the money, a great little kit. If I worked on network cables frequently, I would find something more sturdy.

Seems fine
I was worried with all the reviews stating it is a cheap product. Everything arrived fine and working, I tested the cable tester against some cat5 and it worked great. It all seems just fine especially for the price. I will only be using this once or twice a year so I didnt want to spend hundreds on the professional quality ones. I am pretty satisfied so far. The cable tester needs a 9V though, I am really not sure why the flashlight comes with batteries but not this. Found that odd.

Look elsewhere for good crimpers (50 piece kit)
As an I.T. tech for a company with multiple sites, I'm always looking for a good pc/networking all in one tool set to leave in my vehicle for "just in case" situations, when my regular go bag of gear isn't available. The included screwdriver set, static strap, and flashlight were a big plus as most other kits are lacking those, so I decided to give it a try.The crimpers are junk. I have yet been able to successfully make a cable with these crimpers. My center pins (4 & 5) are always bad. There is just too much flex in the design to allow these crimpers to fully crimp the ends onto the wires. I either have to use pliers squeeze the crimpers the rest of the way together, or have another set of crimpers available to use instead.I like the ratcheting screwdriver, mostly metal construction, and is more than sturdy and adequate for opening pc's or other devices. The micro screwdriver set, while I prefer larger handles instead of the included metal style, are great in a pinch. The needle nose pliers and cable cutters are also adequate, but I did have to deburr the cable cutters and sharpen them to get good consistent cutsThe cable tester worked in my set, so no complaints there. The flashlight is ok, was hoping for LED bulb but it is not.Sadly the bad crimpers defeats the purpose of having a nice contained "all in one" tool-set to leave in my vehicle. I'll most likely buy a beefier crimper to replace the ones included with this set (and chop out the plastic so they'll fit in the box), but if that is not an option for you, look for a set with beefier crimpers to avoid disappointment.

I can make my own
I can make my own length cables now with this kit that has all you need to fashion cables for the internet , this kit has saved me money already as I was able to buy just the cable fish it through to where I want it and install the connector. With this kit I have acquired a new skill and because everything you need to complete the job is included in this kit I do not have to keep running to the store.

Great Tool for Home and Small office use
Bought this toolbox, and it worked very well, thought not of high quality and not meant for tough field work, but for small office use or home use, then you have the best tool, surprisingly, it is very solid for even partial field work. i will advise anyone looking for a cheap and yet solid toolbox to go for it.
